Works great, I would have preferred to have purchased one that I could up load recordings to my computer to for ease of transcribing. Otherwise great device

I'm very pleased with the product. Since I'm a student, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This device is meets my needs and I'm very pleased with it.

Despite the fact that it's lovingly made me look like "Apparently Super Smart" individual. I'd say that it's a pretty nice piece of equipment. Sound quality is pretty good. Background chatter is a bit annoying, so keep it close to your sound source, I haven't found too many devices at this price that do not have that issue though. REALLY nice amount of recording time though in both low quality to super high quality

I'm very satisfied with this recorder, the quality of recording and playback is great, I love the different folders I can use to store recordings, it's very easy to use, and I can even attach a microphone to it if I want to. If I can complain about one thing, it is ugly, but as long as it works, I don't really care how it looks.

it is great to record lectures in class rooms. and it has folders to divide up and organize all the recordings. the only bad think is that there is no USB drive.

Great product with graet variety of features and options, the only "minus" is that it cant be connected to the computer because there is no USB port and no external memory can be aded

- Answer This particular recorder does not have a USB connection, so any transfer to a computer would need to be in real time via an analog connection from the headphone socket.

- Answer The ICDBX112 recorded files cannot be transfer or save in the computer. The digital voice recorder has no USB port for connecting to a computer.

- Answer There is no Set distance for how far away you can be to capture voice. sound recordings will vary depending on, volume and pitch of the person talking, acoustics and environment as well as interference from background noises. The ICDBX112 will detect the sound of pressing buttons on the device or by movement while handling the recorder , however once the ICDBX112 is recording no sound is produced by the recorder to interfere with your subject.

- Answer Sets the VOR (Voice Operated Recording) function to ON under Menu Settings. Recording starts when the IC recorder detects sound and pauses when no sound is heard, eliminating recording during soundless periods. The VOR function is activated when [ REC/PAUSE] is pressed.

- Answer The maximum recording for the ICDBX112 Digital Voice Recorder is 22 hours for SHQ mode, 33 hours for HQ mode, 89 hours for SP mode and 534 hours for LP mode. The Battery life is as follows: 34 hours during recording, 12 hours playback using the speaker and 36 hours playback with headphones.
