    Synopsis

    TerrorVision
The hokey TerrorVision is more an unintentional model of how horror films were made in the early '50s than a trend-setting story about the TV monster who ate them all. When Stanley (Gerrit Graham) goes outside to adjust his family's satellite dish, a living, organic alien monster-cum-garbage-disposal is zapped into the TV sets in Stanley's household. The monster pops out of the sets once in awhile to grab a quick snack of anyone within reach. Hopefully, the young boy in the family -- the only one close to normal in the house -- might have a solution to their problem. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

    The Video Dead
A television holds within its box a terrifying secret in this horror movie that is laced with dark humor and chills. Late at night, the people who appear on the screen come to life as cannibalistic zombies. Two teens, Zoe and Jeff Blair are the first to discover this when they arrive to a new house before their parents and find the demonic idiot box in the attic. They take it downstairs, plug it in, and later end up fighting for their lives with the hungry apparitions. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

For fans of cheesy 80's horror...it's fantastic!

Other than the mediocre port over from DVD to Bluray (picture and audio suck for a bluray)...this set really brings back some good memories. Remember walking through the video store and renting horror movies based on box cover art? Yeah...that's where these two gems made it big. These two were a few of the better cheese that spawned from the 80's VHS Horror Boom. I recommend if you wanna get some old friends together, turn out the lights, pop some popcorn, and just have fun!

If you're into bizarre horror films then it doesn't get much campier or stranger than TerrorVision. Definitely a flick that needs to be seen to be believed, and Scream Factory does a great job presenting it. Video Dead is also far better than I ever imagined for a shot-on-video, uber-low budgeted flick. Great zombie makeups and atmosphere. You really can't go wrong with this affordable double-feature!

Bought this for Terror Vision a cult classic b-movie with a ridiculous plot. John Gries gives a great performance. Video of the Dead is a real odd but kind of likable flick. It's cool you get both as Bluray and DVD.

Terrorvision and The Video Dead are camp horror movies that aren't the greatest but are definitely worth checking out. Funny with cool special effects.

I saw Terror Vision as a kid double billed with April Fool's Day. Glad to see it again on Blu-Ray. Great price for two flicks!
