I thought this game was ok, i really enjoy creating my character and fighting, but it takes so long to get to places when your walking or riding a horse, the hitting is lame, i would of liked to have combos with the weapons. the magic is lame, the firing off of the magic like ice or fire is so plain, i think they should of made it much better than they did, the missions can be vauge and it can be hard to find the place your looking for. I really didnt like that if you pick up things that you have a wieght limit that you can carry, and that the more things you carry the slower you walk. When you get into a town it is very boring, there is never any action, i would of liked to see fights or a siege going on when you get into certain towns

this game is a one player rpg. ive played it some and it was pretty cool, the controls are alot better than the controls were for morrowind. now you can actually hit guys. the graphics are pretty good, like most 360 games. the only thing bad about the game is the fact that if you get into it, which if you are a gamer you will, your online freinds are going to be begging you to come back to your computer to fight a boss or something, so you may lose youre social life. my freind spent over 50 hours on that game, and that was without the expansion.
this is an original game though, no rip-off

One Awesome & Engrossing Game

With the most awesome graffics I've ever seen in a game, you'll explore an amazing world where every outcome depends upon the personal choices you make. Every path you take is your own, beginning with the character you create for yourself when you first start out. There's a basic quest to get you going...but you don't have to follow it in any particular order. And the game doesn't end when that quest's completed. I've heard some people say they don't like it too much, because they get bored in the beginning. But I've been playing it for literally months now, and I'm still enjoying it. It does take a little bit of time at first to get your character trained to advance up in skill levels. But once you start moving up a little, the game gets a whole lot more interesting. I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who enjoys playing action RPG's and enjoys getting totally immersed in another world. This is by far my favorite game. There are expansions you can buy or download to add even more adventures to your game as well. I do hope its creators decide to make another sequel to it. Its one incredible game whether you've played "Morrowind-The Elder Scrolls" first or not. The Elder Scrolls is this game's older cousin...an X-Box Game, which is also compatible with this X-Box 360. You owe it to yourself to play that one too.

This game has amazing graphics and hundreds of hours of game play. You can spend hours on side quests, which is great, but you are easily distracted from the main quests. This game is so amazing that if you have a significant other at home, you might want to wait until s/he goes away on a business trip before you buy, b/c you won't see her/him for awhile!

The Greatest Adventure

This is a beautiful game. The forest and fields are filled with secrets and monsters while the towns are filled with beautiful buildings and castles. There are people walking around all over and many of them have their own routines. People will interact with you in many different ways. Everything feels alive. Leveling up is lots of fun. If you simply keep doing something you'll get better at it. I like to run around and jump to random locations so my character got really fast and can jump real high. This game is very long. I've put in over 100 hours and I can still find things to do. Of course if you don't have that kind of time it's still great just to play once in a while and continue your adventure. You can also do whatever you want. You can follow the main story and save the world or you can just go around killing people or whatever else you choose to do.

Best RPG

Oblivion was game of the year back in 2005-2006 and it still should be because of how good the game still is.
The storyline is pretty neat and not that long but its still cool. The side quests that there are in the game and the sheer amount that u can do like going to the Arena, Dark Brotherhood, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and Thieves guild...all of them fun in their own way. Then there are some cool side quests where theres involvments with vampires which u really dont wanna be a vampire a lot of the times since u can only really come out at night unless if u bight someone prior to the day.
The graphics and weapons are just amazing in the game as long as some of the enemies dont get that boring to kill except for a select few like Imps. If u want a good Free Roaming RPG game then oblivion is definatly ur fix.

Very rarely does a RPG match ES4:Oblvion's depth, length of play, graphics, or sound. I have been playing the game for months and I'm still only about half through it. This is the game's blessing and curse; at times it almost feels too long. The graphics are top notch (although longer load times and minor frame rate drops are some of the sacrifices you make) and the sound is fantastic (ambient sounds, especially in the wilderness, such as bird and cricket chips, immerse you into the world of Oblivion). A few minor technical glitches can make certain quests frustrating and force you to figure out how to complete a quest in a way other than the game designers intended. Other than those minor issues, this is by far the best RPG I have ever played on any system and is a staple game to any Xbox 360 owner's game library.

Oblivion is the latest chapter in the Elder Scrolls series, and I would say it is the best by far. The graphics are fantastic, especially outside of the cities in the forests. There are tons of quests to do, and many paths for your character to take (good, evil, etc), and what lifestyle you choose has a bearing on what quests you have the chance to attempt. There's SO much to do, I know that some people can get overwhelmed because it's not obvious in the very beginning what to do. I just recommend talking to a few people and you'll find your first quest. Because of the branching nature of the game, you can play it four-five-even six times and still not see everything. There are even two expansions, Knights of the Nine, and Shivering Isles to do when you're finished!
