Q: Will this hard drive work for a Toshiba laptop?
A: No it will not. It is to large. It is for desktop only.
Q: Will this hard drive fit a Dell computer?
A: Yes, I put this hard drive in a Dell OptiPlex 780, working great! very happy with the Hard Drive. I do know that it will fit in these Dell model computers, 745, 755, 760, 780, 7010 and all newer Dell that has SATA on the motherboard. I hope this help since I do not know the model of your Dell?
