Q: Does the Kasa TP-link Wi-Fi 2-outlet smart plug work with Google Home and Alexa?
A: Yes, works with my Android phone and Alexa.
Q: Is each of the outlets independent of the other or do they both react to the same command?
A: They are both individually controllable. I have a lamp on one side and a fan on the other side and I can control them together or separately on the app or with Alexa.
Q: Is this compatible with Nest?
A: Since Nest is now owned by Google, you can integrate our smart plugs via Google Assistant, if your account has been migrated to the new Works with Google Assistant features. Q: Does this plug have the ability to monitor energy usage/consumption?
A: unfortunately, it does not. Their HS110 plug does, but I haven't been able to find it at a fair price for quite a while.
