A: I found the same issue when I used the USB-C to charge the device, I switched it to the “Lightning In” port instead and it immediately illuminated and the number display would increase until it reached 100, at which point I knew it was fully charged. Try this method if you have the lightning cord.

A: My power supply came with 2 short cables. On one end of the power supply, there should be 4 ports. Two are USB outputs and the other two are input ports that can be used for charging. The USB output ports are the ones closer to the power button. The input ports are closer to the LCD which displays the remains charge level. The input port directly user the LCD is the new type C. The other is a lightning port, which is the one I use. I use the same cable to charge my IPhone to charge the power supply. If you want to charge the iPhone from the power supply, you use the USB output port. If you want charge the power supply, you use the lightning input port. Hope this helps!
