I have an older version of a Vtech phone and when it's buttons started failing I decided to buy another Vtech because I liked the large display screen which makes reading names/numbers easier. I didn't realize the new Vtech I bought has no way to turn the ringer off like my older version (which isn't that old) I will not buy another Vtech especially if the buttons start to fail like the other one and if they don't include option to turn the ringer off.

Will Always Buy V-Tech!

I have been purchasing V-Tech phones for years now, finding that they are consistently the highest quality product on the market. I have owned Sony phones in the past, but have always been unhappy with th sound quality and answering machine capabilities. This particular model has great range and a good design, but I do wish it was silver like the older models instead of black. Other than that, I can't really say much else. It is comfortable in my hand and sits well on my shoulder

My first negative review -- I am on this site to buy another phone after purchasing this one six months ago. One handset stopped working within days of purchase -- the buttons didn't work. When attempting to return, V-Tech customer support's advice was to unplug and then re-plug in the battery. I thought that would be a permanent fix and kept the phone, but again it only lasted for 2-3 days. Laziness kept me from returning after that, and the non-working handset sat in its cradle as a spare for answering only.
Now the second handset is failing. Battery lasts about 15 minutes before it needs to be recharged, static depending on how you hold it -- I'm using it in tandem with a Uniden set I've had for almost 8 years, that still works better than the V-Tech.
V-Tech makes excellent children's toys, but I'll not buy their telephones again. This was a true case of 'you get what you pay for'.

I purchsed this phone to use with the Magic Jack. Being 5.8 GigHz there is no interference with the caller ID. The range is good on this phone and the sound is clear.

I normally purchase Uniden brand and when I saw this cool phone I decided to try it. It was the best purchased I've made. The reception is great, alot of talk time and for the price Its definetly worth it. I have not had any complaints about this phone yet. I would definetly recommend it!!!

It has been a great phone to have. I bought it a while back and it works clearly. I have dropped it several time because I'm clumsy and it still works. I also had the gray version of this phone before this one and gave that one to my momma because she like it so much. Great phone and most importance great price.

It seemed to work fine for about 5 months and suddenly I can't make outgoing calls. At first I thought it was the phone - but when I checked another home phone that is not V-Tech it works fine. Very poor quality and not much assistance offered from Customer Support.....they seemed bothered by my request for assistance.
WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER V-TECH PRODUCT.
