Customers are saying
Customers highly value the sleek design, great sound quality, and ease of use of this phone. However, a significant drawback reported by users is the poor battery life, with many citing issues such as short usage time and unreliable battery indicators. Several users experienced the phone dying quickly, even with minimal use. The phone's functionality is therefore significantly impacted by this shortcoming.

Great Slim Phone

I thought I wanted the Panasonic phone with Talking ID that speaks out the name of who's calling - because I'm far-sided. But I liked the look and feel of this slim phone with the big dial pad. I'm glad I chose the Vtech. I can see most of the screen text clearly, and the phone is so easy to use that I don't need to see the screen perfectly to navigate to the various features. I have a modern theme going on in my living room. In spite of some great pieces, company zeroes in on the phone, it's that impressive and forward-looking. It's lightweight - plastic - and when I was assembling it I wondered if it would feel and appear cheap. Not so. It is so well designed that it feels and handles perfectly. And it looks sharp. Has great sound, and doesn't interfere with my wireless internet connection. Am very satisfied with my choice.

Great Phone with only one con...

This is an excellent phone in every way just like the earlier version it replaced. It is smaller and lighter than the earlier version. The sound clarity is exceptional and doesn't interfere with wi-fi. One feature that is somehow excluded that is on the original is a battery indicator. The battery indicator only works when the phone is charging...what is the use of that?? We have no way of knowing whether the battery is high, medium, or low...I have no idea why they excluded this when it was on the previous version.

This is the first phone I have ever loved. It looks cool, feels good, is user and setup friendly. Twice friends have purchased after using mine, never has that happened B4. B4, a phone was just a phone. This one is cool. Oh and this is the first review I've ever felt compelled to write. The only drawbacks are it is so flat we lose it allot down seat cushions and then the battery will die down. Other than that some say the volume of my voice isn't loud enough.

This phone replaced another cordless I was using that was full of static. The static disappeared the minute this phone was plugged up.I get great reception in & outside my home. Easy to set up, very simple button configuration. My biggest problem is not being able to place a call on hold to grab a phone in a different room. I read complaints about battery life being short. My phone is mostly on the charger when not in use. I have no complaints about the battery, it's fine to me. Overall, excellent phone for the price. I even purchased this phone for others as a Christmas present and they love it as well.

We love the sleek look of this phone. My old phone only had a speaker phone on the main unit and not on the phone itself. I like that I can use the speaker phone directly on the phone. I also realy enjoy the intercom feature. I can call my son from my bedroom and since the phone is usually attached at the hip with him, low and behold I can find him anywhere in the house. That makes it easy to relay a message or a chore to be done. I hadnt noticed that the phone does not indicate whether it was low charged as indicated on another review, but I can say it has never gone dead and my son is not the best at placing it back on the charger. My husband picked this one out and I must give him kuddos on an excellent choice. Easy to use, easy to program, great phone book to easily store numbers you dont want to loose, I mean what more can I say about it. Its worth the buy.

When this phone actually works it sounds great but the battery will not work at all. I returned the phone thinking it might have been a defect and the other one was the same way. It does not work at all the battery will last maybe for about 15 minutes then it starts beeping and just turn off. I do not recommend this phone there are better phones for this price. Terrible purchase.

The sound quality on the telphone is great, as expected on a DECT 6.0. The slim/slick design was a plus, enjoy using the phone; plus the speaker feature when I have long conversation.

On the surface, these V-Tech phones look like a bargain, boasting DECT 6.0, digital recording, and a nifty interface. While the sound quality is just okay, the battery life on these phones is simply lame. About a month after we purchased them, the phones began losing juice within 15 minutes of use. Yes, after only 15 minutes! And that's on a full charge. In an effort to slim down these phones, V-Tech clearly sacrificed the battery life. Now, they won't even hold a charge. The phones cut out in mid-conversation, so we've begun looking into replacements. While V-Tech is normally a reliable brand, we won't be picking up any of their products for a good, long while.
