A: It's only for battery powered units. It would be pointless if it was for a wired one.
Q: Can you adjust the angle using this?
A: Yes you can. I had to buy an angle kit for it due to the way my house faces a busy street and just screwed it on the preexisting holes that the solar device has. Hope this helps. I've attached a picture on how I had to install it.
Q: Do the solar doorbell charge during over case days?
A: I have mine in an enclosed patio where light goes through not direct sunlight and I can say that it helps not to lose battery as fast. The battery lasts longer.

Q: how many hours of direct sunlight does the charger require to maintain the battery charge?
A: The best thing to do is make sure your ring doorbell itself is charged at least 80% but I recommend a full charge as when you attach the solar panel it will hold the charge. We didn’t have to charge the solar panel. Just make sure it get sunlight. It does a nice job!
