Q: Does any of pair this with their Xbox?
A: I currently have a 4TB version of this set up with my Xbox. I bought this to replace it. Two of my friends did the same and have already transferred their games and started using the 10TB model to store games. You can indeed use it with your Xbox.
Q: What drive is inside this unit?
A: This has the WD white drives, not red. They are the helium filled variety, but do sometimes need a pin covered or adapter used to work in a PC outside the enclosure.
Q: This drive working on external power supply adaptor???? Product page does not contain this info
A: My unit came with a 12v 1.5a external power supply. It will not work on usb power alone.
A: No. This acts like a BIG usb drive.
A: When formatting the drive, use the exFAT file system format so Windows and Mac can read and write to it. For large drives, you should format with exFAT anyway.
A: wdbcka0100hbk-ne32 Has a separate 32 gb thumb drive with it, Other then that it’s the same HD.
A: Yes you can with plenty of space left!
Q: Does this hardrive works with the newest nvidia shield tv and kodi?
A: Kodi will read pretty much anything, so if it formatted for the shield then kodi can read it. Android should read exfat and ntfs.
