Lighten workloads with this Whirlpool dishwasher. Its sensor cycle automatically selects the correct temperature for washing and drying and determines the duration of each setting. This energy-efficient Whirlpool dishwasher has a durable stainless steel tub that sustains high temperatures, is resistant to discoloration and helps keep sound output at a discreet 47dBa.
Tap touch controls
Clean these controls as easily as you use them.
Cycle status indicator
The full lit display glows for wash, drain, drying, sanitized and clean along with the time in hours and minutes so there's no need to guess when your dishes will be ready.
Lets you set the dishwasher to start running while you're working, sleeping or running errands.
Accommodates up to 15 place settings
Generous interior space means more clean dishes, fewer loads.
In-Door silverware basket
Frees up rack space by easily fitting on the front of the lower rack or in the door to make room for more dishes.
Adjustable upper rack
Manually raise or lower the upper rack two inches to better fit tall items.
Stainless steel tub
Promotes drying by retaining heat from wash and rinse cycles. Plus, it cools faster than the dishes so moisture can condense on the interior walls and not the dishes.
TotalCoverage spray arm
Cleans with twice the jets for more coverage. A smarter sequence of spray patterns from multiple nozzles hits dishes throughout the cycle.
High temperature wash option
Gives items like baby bottles, glassware or dishes a more thorough clean.
Energy Star Certified
Energy Star Certified models exceed government standards to help save money on your utility bills.
Heated dry option
Use a clean, dry dish straight from the dishwasher thanks to added heat for drying. For optimal drying results, use this option with rinse aid.
Automatically selects the right wash and dry settings for your load by using two separate sensors to measure temperature, soil level and load size once during the prewash and once during the wash cycle.
Use for normal amounts of food soil to clean up leftover messes from your day-to-day meals.
1-Hour Wash Cycle
Cleans dishes in half the time (compared to Normal cycle with lightly soiled loads) so your plates, pans and glasses are thoroughly cleaned up and taken care of in just an hour.
Take care of heavily-soiled messes and other hard-to-clean dishes without the extra elbow grease by adding extra time to the cycle.
Dishwasher hookup kit is sold separately and is not included.
Required for Installation: All dishwasher purchases require a dishwasher hookup kit be purchased from Best Buy. Without a hookup kit, your installation will not be completed. Find a hookup kit in the accessories section on this page.
So far so good. Cleans the dishes like its supposed to do and does it very quietly. We can actually run the dishwasher while watching tv now. The sound coming from the kitchen sink as the water drains is louder than the running dishwasher.
Only complaint so far, the very first load with dishes (after the test run with no dishes) resulted in a broken glass. The break occurred at the base where the glass is the thickest at around 3/4 of an inch, not at the top where the glass is thin - very strange. It was a break that would occur when temperatures change abruptly.
Other than that, no issues.
Got our new dishwasher delivered 11/30/2017. My wife received it. She said guys were nice. Brought in the garage where we wanted it, took off the box and my wife inspected. Looked fine. When I got home I inspected inside and out. Found dent inside the back wall. There is a dent from the outside that is visible inside. It doesn't seem like it will interfere with anything but will be there forever. As long as it doesn't cause a problem or leak it should be OK.
Not only is super attractive I’m washing the dishes and no one knows it!! So quiet. The cleaning ability is awesome I would highly recommend this dishwasher. It does take 2 1/2 hours for a load but uses a lot less water.
You can't really go wrong with whirlpool-they've been around forever so they have basically cornered the market on kitchen appliances. This one is really user friendly super quiet and looks great. The Geek squad did a great job from start to finish on the install and went through the basics on operation. Very pleased with best buy so far.
We didn't use our dishwasher often because most of the time you had to clean off your plates before you put it in. This dishwasher we tried it for the first time and left baked potatoes in one of the bowls and it actually cleaned it out shiny and sparkly. All of the dishes looked cleaner than ever I didn't realize that they could get cleaner until we use the dishwasher
So far, so good. This replaced a 5 year old Bosch that fell apart on me over the course of 6 months. It is slightly louder than the Bosch but still very quiet. Also, it has a drying cycle, something the Bosch lacked.
I like that the indicator light is located next to the handle and lights up different colors for wash, dry, and finished. The Bosch had a projected floor light, that while cool, was sometimes overlooked, leading one to accidentally open the washer mid-cycle (the Bosch was almost silent).
The utensil rack in the door is a bit unusual, and the slots are a bit small for some of my forks and spoons - but it didn't take me long to figure out that you can leave the organizing flaps open, put in anything you want, and the utensils still get clean.
Only time will tell if it holds up . . .
A:AnswerThe controls have to be set with the door open, as the controls are located along the top edge of the door. If you set the dishwasher back, you will have no problem accessing the controls.
This is my third, and favorite dishwasher. With the controls on top, the little kids are not able to push the buttons and start the machine by mistake. I also love that the silverware tray is on the door and doesn't take space away from the dish washing space.
A:AnswerHi ModelDifferences, thank you for your inquiry. The overall design of the models are different.
WDTA50SAHW has a contemporary design with a pocket handle. Where as WDT750SAHW has an actual metal handle. Other than that, all the features and specifications are the same. We do hope this helps!
A:AnswerCam, there are small plastic components on the inside of the Dishwasher, however, the tub is made of stainless steel. You may notice a slight smell during the first few washes, however, the smell will dissapate.
