We bought this as an open item to complete our kitchen renovation, and it has done exactly what we wanted it to do. I love having the controls up front so the kitchen backsplash is shown fully. As for the stove and oven functions, I don’t see much of a difference between this range and the Whirlpool range it replaced. I’m only doing slide in ranges from now on!

I've had this stove for 2 years and it continues to disappoint. The stove top scratched very easily, the finish is chipping away around the controls. Tried to cook a turkey in the oven and I'm continually having to adjust the temperature.

Our old oven quit the day we were expecting company. Visits to several appliance dealers left us wondering if we'd ever find the features we wanted at a price we could afford. We stopped at the nearest Best Buy, talked with one of the sales staff, and when we didn't find what we wanted on display, he suggested we check BestBuy.com as the website had a larger selection than stores could accommodate. Within a few minutes we found the oven we wanted, and at a price we could afford. Delivery, and set-up was free, and best of all everything could happen by the end of the week. Delivery was on-time, and the installers were careful to clean-up after themselves in the kitchen, and at the curb. The new oven has been fantastic. Lots of features for the oven, and cook top including being able to select the size burner needed. Another great product from Whirlpool, and from the same store we shop for cell phones, tablets, and laptops!

This was purchased on sale at an amazing discount price. It is replacing a 24 yr old Magic Chef that still worked and in great shape for it’s age. I will note the quality of most appliances have gone down in construction. So far, I like the speed at which the burners heat up. The display is high tech digital and easy to use. It has 4 burners with 2 adjustable to 2 sizes. The only drawback I see is the touch panel is a soft plastic which I see as a problem in the future.

- Answer Hi Inthemarket, ideal cookware should have a flat bottom, straight sides, and awell-fitting lid, and the material should be of medium-to-heavy thickness. Rough finishes may scratch the cooktop. Aluminum and copper may be used as a core or base in cookware. However, when used as a base, they can leave permanent marks on the surfaces.
