Description

Thoroughly dry large loads with this Whirlpool Duet WED94HEAC electric dryer that features a 7.4 cu. ft. interior and 10 automatic cycles to properly dry a variety of fabrics. The touch-sensitive controls simplify operation.

Features

Tap Touch electronic controls
With an LED display feature a sensitive surface that responds to a light touch of your finger for simple operation. Control lock function prevents unintentional or unsupervised activation.
7.4 cu. ft. capacity
Handles large loads, so you can spend less time doing laundry.
10 cycles
Include heavy-duty, normal, bulky, casual, delicates, towels, sanitize, quick dry, timed dry and steam refresh to thoroughly dry a wide variety of fabrics. Steam-refresh cycle reduces odors and light wrinkles in up to 12 garments.
Wrinkle Shield Plus option
Periodically tumbles your clothes up to 140 minutes to help prevent wrinkles from forming when you are unable to remove a load immediately.
Static-reduce option
Automatically tumbles, pauses and introduces a small amount of moisture into a load to help eliminate static. EcoBoost option uses a low heat level to help conserve energy.
5 temperature settings
Allow you to select the temperature that best suits your drying needs.
Moisture-sensing system
Measures moisture levels in the load and in the air and shuts the dryer off when the load reaches the selected dryness level to prevent overdrying.
Stainless-steel drum and interior
For durability.
Quiet Dry Plus noise-reduction system
Lets you do laundry while family members sleep, watch TV or carry on conversations.
Optional stacking kit
Enables stacking the dryer with a matching washer (stacking kit and washer not included). Optional drying rack (not included) allows you to dry sweaters, sneakers, stuffed animals and pillows without tumbling.
Reversible door hinge
Provides flexible use.
Electric cord and vent kit are sold separately and are not included.
Steam function requires separate hose and is not included.

Clothes come out dry. There are many settings, and the steam option is very useful. All in all, very pleased with the purchase and do recommend.

I purchased the Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer as a pair. First "new" washer and dryer I've had in over 20 years. I splurged on these two, since I'm the primary person in the household who does laundry. The variety of settings is great for light loads, bulky, etc. I've had it a month and so far, it's been great. I haven't yet hooked up the steam option, so I can't comment on that functionality yet.

A little confusing at first but quickly caught on how to effectively use the different wash cycles. My favorite is the sanitize cycle because I don't even have to use bleach on whites and it doesn't give stains a chance. My only regret is waiting so long to get a front loader. I'm a fan for life!

This is by far the quietest dryer I've ever owned. It always gets clothes dry on the first cycle and has plenty of options for all types of clothes. And with the paired washer it has the option of steaming clothes. A great buy for someone looking for something nice.

We found this open box and jumped on it. Overall pleased with it. Lots of features that we have to learn how to use. Seems complicated for a dryer. So far we are happy with our new dryer.
