Well first off I will say I use ZAGG on all of my phones, I have one on my 7+ and bought this for my S8+ that I received yesterday. ZAGG has excellent quality, but I do believe that this one needs to go back to the drawing board to find a better way to build the edges of this protector so it fully sticks to the screen and stays there. Also as with all of my other ZAGG products, never have had any issues with bubbles whatsoever, or none that just refused to disappear, and ANY they ever had ( 3-4 at most ) disappeared in 12 hours at worst. The screen protector will lift if you are not very careful when taking a case off, I actually had mine pop up and off the phone BUT managed to place it back on without any dust/hair etc. getting under it. The screen protector itself looks good on the phone and offers the protection the company is known for minus the edges... also with the very outer edges not wanting to stay stuck to the phone, dirt does get trapped under it ( as you can see in the picture ). In final I say for $49.99 it is hard to pull the trigger on this knowing the issue, to pay $49 ... It took me 20 minutes to decide to just go for it ONLY because I like the company and just hate the screen being open to accidents with no protection. So far all has been good minus the edges not wanting to stay 100% planted, it also hasn't popped off again. There may be others companies out there who have figured out a way to make it stay planted, so there are other options for cheaper possibly. Maybe they will get this figured out eventually, curved screens are still fairly new so it may take a while before they 100% have it down. I would recommend the company to anyone for a screen protector, but for this phone I would say if the issues I mentioned bug you don't go for it.

    Works great if installed/aligned correctly!

1st off, I am using this on the Galaxy S8+ with an Otterbox Defender case. After reading the many poor reviews I was very reluctant to install this on my phone, even after having great luck with ZAGG "film" based protection on other devices. But after reading the many issues with the "glass" series i thought this was a better bet. This is however my 1st "Curved" display, and that seems to be introducing some new issues with proper fit (Alignment) and problems with installation. I will say that the instructions could be better, and there currently isn't any ZAGG hosted installation videos for this product/device. With that said i was able to get this screen protector successfully installed and am quite happy with it after 2 days of use. I will provide these 2 recommendations: 1st, the alignment is CRITICAL to this being "case friendly". And 2nd, I would allow this screen protector to sit on the device for a solid 24 hours before you put a case on it. I would suggest testing out your selected case on the phone 1st, and noting where the edges sit, particularly on the 4 corners. Keep this in mind when aligning the screen protector on the device being sure that the edges of the case do not interfere with the screen protector causing it to pull up. And finally, be PATIENT and wait that 24hrs before putting your case back on. I smoothed out the installed screen protector with the included microfiber cloth several times during the "wait time" to insure it was adhering, particularly on the curved edges and 4 corners. And finally, dont be shy with the solution that activates the glue, apply it liberally all over paying special attention to the corners and the edges. Hope this helps!

Have Geek Squad put it on

As always the first thing I do when I get a new phone is put a screen protector on it. We have put protectors on 2 S8's and 2 S8+'s. We have Geek Squad put them on since if there is a problem with the installation they will get another one and try again. Had one that had gotten a little scratched when they put it on and they just grabbed another protector and quickly put it on. All 4 went on properly. All bubbles cleared up within 24 hours. The only problem that happened was the next day when I was at work I managed to somehow tear the protector trying to take a picture. (confined location, sharp objects around) I went back to Best Buy thinking I would buy another one and have Geek Squad install (since once you pay them they will reinstall new ones for free) then send off to Zagg since was my fault. Geek Squad was nice and said since was only 24 hours since they installed it they would take care of the warranty so did not cost me a dime or have to deal with Zagg. Have had on for a week now with no problems with peeling or pulling off. I am using an Otterbox Symmetry case. My one recommendation is watch what case you put on. Some have higher sides that could cause problems with causing edges to peel.

I have always purchased less expensive screen protectors for my cell phones and always installed them myself and never had an issue. Since recently purchasing a Galaxy S8 for my wife and an S8+ for myself, I was concerned with installing the screen protectors myself because of the curved screen on the phones. My wife isn't as careful with her phone as I am with mine, so I decided to get Zagg screen protectors for both phones and have Geek Squad install them. I don't know if it's because of the curved screen but I'm disappointed with my purchase. The screen protector on both phones is not centered on the phone. I admit I'm probably pickier about this than most people. I'm not sure if I can explain this right, but the installer clearly started at the bottom right corner of the screen which leaves unequal, uncovered areas on the phones on the top and left side. The screen protector is also lifting off the phone (more on my wife's than mine) and we have to keep pressing it back on. This never happened with the protectors I installed on previous Samsung phones. I'm not sure if the problem is the screen protector or the installation but, for what I paid, I'm not happy with my purchase.

i have had both the glass and the hd clear by Zagg and by far the hd clear is the better way to go. Not because the glass was bad but because the hd clear is just better. The glass, since its slightly off the screen, gives off a strange kind of hue on the screen. Kind of looks cloudy. And that is with every glass zagg for the S8 and S8+. Zagg knows about the issue with the first versions of the glass and are working on a fix. The hd clear is pretty much the best screen protector for the new galaxy phones with curved edges. Yes application is harder and i wouldn't recommend someone that has never done an hd clear to do these ones(especially with the curved screen). All of the hd clear screen protectors regardless of the phone model or even tablet model do not include the amount of adhesive you need to properly get it to set correctly. If you have a bottle of screen cleaning solution drench the hd clear in that first and if your edges do not stick just use your phone in the shower and press the edges down and i guarantee that it will stick. I put these on everyday and i have yet to have someone come back to return or exchange the hd clear after they used it in the shower or under water after initial application. Don't get mad if you haven't ever put an hd clear on because you probably won't get it the first try.

So with my nice new phone, of course the next thing I did was beeline to the screen protectors. This fits the phone perfectly, goes with the curves of the screen. I hate putting them on, so when the Best Buy rep told me for $8 they could put it on...seemed high for only a $20 product, but instead of messing it up myself or heaven forbid dropping my phone on the way home....i paid it. They guarantee no bubbles or anything for 7 days. If you notice anything you can bring it back. Well, being as obsessed as I am with my new phone, I checked and there were not any air pockets, then forgot about it. About 9 days after purchase, I noticed that about a quarter inch of the screen on the bottom right is unprotected. Whether it was like that from day one, or "moved" I can't be sure. You can't notice unless you really look, but still, I could scratch my screen there. So I reached out to Best Buy since I paid over $30 after tax for the product and PROFESSIONAL installation .... and was told they only guarantee it for 7 days. It was the morning of the 9th. I didn't make a fuss, but lesson learned. I won't pay Best Buy to set up, install, or touch anything for me ever again. And I don't recommend anyone else does either!

I have used Zagg screen protectors for about a half dozen years, but have not had to get one of these because I switched to glass screen protectors. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and it has a curved screen...(Zagg GLASS screen protectors are virtually useless for a curved screen). This was the 2nd Zagg HD screen protector that I purchased....Zagg does not provide enough adhesive activator in the kit...They used to provide a small spray vial of adhesive activator but now all they give you is a very small square (like a handi-wipe) which isn't nearly enough. I applied that on my first screen protector and the protector did not come off of the plastic sheet...(I returned that screen protector). So, back to square one. I purchased another Zagg screen protector from Best Buy and had the mobile department put it on my phone (for a ridiculous application price of $7.99. You would think that Best Buy could put it on for free as I do spend thousands of dollars in their store). The Best Buy employee brought out a large spray bottle of the application liquid that Zagg refuses to give enough of in their screen protector package, and he applied the screen protector. In the future, I will be looking for an alternative to Zagg screen protectors.

I bought this for my wife's phone. Her previous screen protector (from Verizon) peeled off. I decided to pay Best Buy $8 to install the screen protector. The guy took his time and did a very good job. We waited 24 hours to attached her phone case. So far, no issues. I've installed phone screens before, but for $8 I figured it would be a safe bet. Here are some tips if you install this screen protector yourself. Turn off your phone. Practice lining up the protector BEFORE wetting it down. Clean your hands and phone. Be sure to get the screen protector very wet and make sure you cover the edges very well. Lay the wet protector on the phone and squeegee out the residue from center to edge. Keep doing this until all the water is removed. Pay special attention to the edges. Every couple of minutes, use your fingers and rub down the edges. Make sure the edges are staying down. Give the phone at least 24 hours to set then you can put on your phone case. If you don't want to do this, then just pay Best Buy to do it for you. At least if he messes it up he'll redo it.
