Alpine's Halo Series subwoofer enclosures make it easy to add more bass to your system. The pre-loaded R-Series 12" dual voice coil subwoofer provides plenty of bass on its own, but when you want even more, the optional linking kit can connect two together for double the impact.

Designed for trucks, these enclosures were designed to fit under the back seat of most full-size trucks. Two 8” subwoofers are preloaded into the compact enclosure and linked with a ProLink bracket that can be adjusted from 40” to 51” for a wide range of applications. Centered on the enclosures is an integrated amplifier mount tray that’s optimized for Alpine Mono-Power Amplifiers (sold separately)..

The new design and enhanced performance of the R2-Series subwoofers offer deeper bass and tighter bass control compared to the previous generation. Updates to the new generation include larger, double-stacked magnets, an integrated Faraday ring, and a Kevlar-treated cone. All of these updates equal unmatched durability and reliable performance, even at high volumes. The R2-W8D2 handles up to 350 watts RMS. Its dual oversized 2-ohm voice coils allow you to draw maximum power from your mono amp. Since it works well in sealed or ported enclosures you'll enjoy your music the way you like to hear it.
