A: Hey there Paul. The M650 has a ratcheted scroll wheel, so it should be tighter than that of the M325.
Q: How does the M650 differ from the M510(the best mouse ever made)?
A: The M650L builds on the M510's comfort with updated ergonomics, size options for a better fit, improved tracking, and optional silent clicks. It's essentially a modern upgrade.
A: You can hold it in either hand (I just tried it right now), and it doesn't feel awkward, although the side buttons will remain on the left side of the mouse, instead of where your thumb would be. Also, the Primary and Secondary mouse buttons (left and right click) would stay where they are, unless you use the Logitech software to remap and swap left and right click. TL;DR It doesn't feel awkward, but buttons and layout isn't specifically designed for left-handed people.
Q: Can the scroll wheel tilt for side scrolling?
A: No. But you can use the side button + scroll for side-scrolling
A: It’s definitely not necessary because I’ve been using it without one, but it’s also not a bad thing to have.
Q: Will this mouse work with a Macbook air?
A: Hello Ed! Absolutely, the Signature M650 L Full-size Wireless Scroll Mouse with Silent Clicks will work on macOS 10.15 or later vis Bluetooth, or macOS 10.10 or later via it's Bolt USB Receiver. - Mathieu from Logitech
Q: Will this mouse work with a logitech unifying receiver?
A: Yes, the Logitech M317 can work with a Logitech Unifying Receiver, but only if your specific M317 unit is the Unifying-compatible version (look for the orange Unifying logo).

After searching to replace my mouse that my dog chewed up, I settled on this one. I wanted the same model as I had before because it is red as well but couldn't find it in stock anywhere. I didn't look at the specs on this one too much, I just wanted a Logitech mouse and one that is big enough for my hand, I can't do dinky! I was surprised at how quiet this one was, it took some getting used to on not hearing the click. It glides well across my desk even without a mouse pad. I didn't realize until I got it home that it was Bluetooth so that's an added bonus for me since it frees up a USB port. The only thing I wish it included are instructions for the side buttons, yes I know I can look at it on Logitech's website for that but it would be helpful to have it in the box with the mouse. I also like that this came in an actual box and not plastic. I would recommend this mouse to anyone wanting a full size mouse!

I absolutely LOVE this mouse. The larger size is so comfortable in my hand and I absolutely LOVE that it connects by Bluetooth and does not require a dongle of any sort attached to my computer (although it comes a micr-sized dongle if, for some reason, you choose that option). You have the option of downloading Logi software to reprogram the buttons and side buttons if you wish, or you can simply connect it and use it quickly and easily as it is. I also love the fact that multiple colors are available. I have three different colors for three different computers, and I have two connected to each computer - one at home and one at the office, so I simply open my laptop and get to work instantly without carrying mice around. You should buy this mouse. It’s the best one I’ve ever owned. And for those with smaller hands, the same mouse is available in a smaller version without the “L” at the end of the model number. (“L” stands for “Large”). I got my wife that version and she loves it!

I recently purchased this Logitech full-size wireless optical scroll mouse, and I must say, it's been a fantastic addition to my setup! One of the standout features for me is the silent click functionality. As someone who often works in quiet environments, whether it be a library or a home office, the ability to click without making noise is a game-changer. The design of the mouse is sleek and ergonomic, making it comfortable for long hours of use. The optical scroll is smooth and responsive, allowing for effortless navigation through documents and web pages. The wireless feature also adds a level of convenience, as there are no tangled cords to worry about. Battery life has been impressive so far, lasting several weeks on a single charge, which is a significant plus in my book. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable and quiet mouse, this wireless optical scroll mouse is worth considering. It enhances productivity without disturbing those around you, truly merging functionality with a peaceful workspace!
