Q: How often does this have to be cleaned?
A: U may need to do this weekly.
Q: does this leave the floor wet?
A: I have not had any issue with anything being wet at all. I run it every day for at least 10 hours.
A: No dust on furniture but I would be careful with some types of particle board because it is still water. We have it on my sons dresser and never had issues. no special water needed. yes they offer replacements and they are reasonably priced.
