A: I assume that some of the "ready" TV's may not have an MHL port, because not all ROKU devices have that kind of connection. If you want to ensure you have an Insignia TV that is MHL compatible, they have a list of the MHL compatible devices on both websites (Insignia and ROKU) from what I recall. I looked it up before I bought the TV, and the MHL stick works perfectly.
