Q: QuestionIs this the version that uses the SM2262EN controller? I know ADATA has switched controllers around for this drive, meaning the performance can vary substantially
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer The one that I bought had the SM2262EN controller. I bought my SSD about 3 months ago. The only way of really confirming the controller is buying and opening the SSD so if it is possible for you, buy a couple or few different ones and keep the one with the good controller. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionIS ADATA EXPORTING INFERIOR COMPONENTS TO AMERICAN CUSTOMERS INTENTIONALLY OR IS THIS A RANDOM FLUKE and FOR BESTBUY will you allow your customers to be left with said components that are clearly NOT the same they used for their initial product?
Asked by DisabledNativeAmericanVet.
- A:Answer Sooo, a Non-answer? Hello, Best Buy. PLEASE have your quality assurance team verify EACH Adata XPG SX8200 PRO. Too many of your American Customers are becoming aware of the inferior products they are specifically exporting to "our region'; it's called bait and switch and it (used to be) illegal!

Q: QuestionHow can I tell if it is compatible with my computer? I have an HP
Asked by MSCPA.
- A:Answer Depends on your motherboard. You need a m.2 drive slot on it or use a pci-e m.2 extension adapter. You should look up your particular model number probably on HP site and look at the technical specs. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWill this work to expand PS5 memory?
Asked by dhill.
- A:Answer Hello dhill, The SX8200 does not meet the minimum requirements for the PS5 internal storage. The PS5 requires a Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD, while the SX8200 is a Gen3 NVMe M.2 SSD. Regards, ADATA Team

Q: QuestionWill this SSD replace the HP recommended replacement part - 2 TB, PCIe, NVMe TLC L68864-001 drive in a New HP ZBook 15 G6, intel CORE i5 9th Gen laptop??? Serial number: 5CD038HZY5 I look forward to your response. MHoward
Asked by MHoward.
- A:Answer It should work. You may have to remove an existing drive to make room, however. Also, be prepared to reinstall Windows if the drive you pull is the OS drive.
