Best Gaming Processor for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 3600 was the best gamer for the price until they dropped the price on this that it was withing $20 of 3600. Just look at the benchmarks. In most games this beats the 3700X except in massive RTS games that use all the cores. The Heatsink that comes with it is good enough. But, I got tired of listening to it speeding up and down. Put 212 Evo on it.

best cpu for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GREAT CPU. probably the best bang for your buck. Originally was going to get the ryzen 5 2600x but this was on sale for the same price and I'm glad I got it. Perfect mid end to high end cpu and works great with the 20 series graphics cards. I plan to get a 3060ti and will see how it runs

AMD rises from the ashes
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AMD has finally managed to beat Intel in both value and performance. This CPU has 6 cores and 3.8 GHz clock speed for only $250. What more could you ask for, great for virtualization, coding, gaming and everything you could throw at it.

Great budget CPU - Not meant to overclock
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.if you are looking for the best bang for your buck CPU on any budget to mid pc build look no further than the Ryzen 5 3600! The 3600x is basically the same as the regular 3600 but costs $50 more due to its higher out-of-factory clockspeed and better stock cooler. Only reason to buy the x over the 3600 is if you are not looking to overclock at all. If you are planning on overclocking and playing around with your cpu power, SAVE SOME MONEY AND BUY A 3600 INSTEAD.

Fantastic CPU
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving my 3600x. I paired it with the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max and it worked together perfectly out of the box, with no BIOS upgrade necessary. The cooler on this is more than adequate for the CPU and temps have all been very good for an AMD chip. It's fast as hell, too. Super happy with this purchase. This chip is like the R9 390 of CPUs right now.

Great CPU buy it on sale otherwise go 3600 non-X
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great processor for the money when you take into account the 10% birthday discount through BB. It's easy to go up to the 3600X at 224.99 when the 3600 is either out of stock or priced at 209.99 instead of the normal 199.99. AMD is rocking it at the moment with their performance, but some prices are out of whack. Keep an eye out on sales otherwise go for the 3600 non-x or see what Intel has from their 10th Gen as you can get a 8-core from them for relatively cheap comparatively speaking.

Best Gaming Chip for 2019
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This chip is a beast! Was able to snag mine from 'AMD authorized reseller'. Came in 1 day when it was estimated to take 3. This thing blows everything out of the water at this price point. On par with the intel 9700k in gaming for $70 less, and better than the $489 i9 9900k in productivity and multitasking. First time buying an AMD chip but with their recent innovations its hard to justify buying Intel.

Q: QuestionIs this a processor or a cpu or are they the same? i don't know but i plan to build my custom pc as a beginner. also any tips would be nice.
Asked by TechKid.
- A:Answer A processor and CPU (central processing unit) are the same thing in desktop PCs. If you are a beginner, I recommend watching some youtube videos on the basics of building custom PCs and the different parts needed. pcpartpicker.com is also a good place to find pre made parts lists, but I still recommend you watch some videos.
