Q: Is anything wrong with the computer

A: I purchased one for my wife and liked it so much that I bought another one for myself. There is nothing wrong with either of them however being me I did upgrade ram and changed them to SSD to better the performance but overall they were a good purchase for me.

A: It’s mid 2010. One of the best older models. This model is one of the few that can be upgraded to 16gb of memory according and tested by OWC.

A: Yes, this is a good laptop for home schooling.

Q: Will this computer be good for school work and running a silhouette program?

A: The other answer is completely true. I bought an alienware 15R3 a couple years ago and it had defective RAM. After i took out one stick of RAM it was a a champ. Dell thankfully replaced the RAM hassle free and super fast. Its been great ever since. I don't know why they don't just get it fixed and sell it for more. Just know what you are getting when you buy their open box stuff!
