A: yes it does have a inline mute button on the cable.
A: The pro offeres surround sound while the basic amp just offers stereo.
A: If you are using an Xbox One, once you have logged into your xbox unplug the USB cable and plug it back in. I don't know what the issue is with the Xbox One USB ports but once you do this it should assign your headset. Works every time for me. The other option is to flip the switch on the back of the MixAmp from Xbox to PC and back again. My understating is this is an issue with the Xbox if you don't power it completely off and use low power mode when turning it off for faster startup. The USB ports suspend and don't go completely off. This has something to do with the Xbox not seeing the mic on startup.
Q: Can you use the Xbox astros on a ps4 ?
A: Yes you should be able to because both consoles use the same digital audio converter. Just use the optical like you do with your Xbox. Be aware though that the PS4 won’t be able to provide atmos support like the Xbox does as according to my own research, Sony didn’t program the console to support Dolby’s atmos format. Beyond that though you should still be able to get digital 5.1 and likely even 7.1 surround off the PS4.
Q: I got the wrong ones. I have the Xbox compatible ones and I need the ps5 ones. What can’ I do
A: Try to return them or trade
A: Yes but the next Xbox doesn’t have an optic cord. You need to buy an hdmi converter for the optic cord to get the full bang from the a40s
A: Found a link on reddit while doing research for the same issue so i would try that but the solution on reddit didnt work for me so I had no choice but to return mine, hope you have better luck!
