Q: Battery life, how is for moderate use on and off throught out the day?
A: The battery of this model unit can last up to 6 hours. Please be advised that the battery life varies by configuration, operating conditions, and other factors. Maximum battery capacity decreases with time and use.
Q: does it come in 4k and if so how much. And is the 4k really important
A: None of the current Asus GL502 models come with a 4k screen. For gaming laptops with 4k, I know Best Buy carries an Alienware with similar specs to this, but less RAM and a 4k screen. However, this particular graphics card (GTX 970m) will likely not be able to output any games at 4k with any kind of playable frame rate. With the current laptop graphic cards available, I don't think you will be able to do much actual gaming on them in 4k, but the 4k will be good to use for making 4k resolution videos or doing graphic design. If you only intend to use the machine for gaming, internet browsing, typing, and those types of things, a 1080p screen is enough.
