    Solid Battery Life & Gaming

Solid battery life out of the box and so far have played some modern games including Jedi Survivor with high settings at very smooth rates. The IGPU makes it a good option for someone looking for solid mid-range gaming and a work laptop that can do 5+ hours of non-gaming activity away from an outlet. Nice big screen too for those with bad eyes like me. It is bulky and heavy and the power brick is massive so not very portable and gets pretty hot unless you prop it up for better fan cooling. Wish it had better SSD storage too.

Great purchase if the price is right

Ok, I'm not going to try and not cover too much that wasn't covered already. Looks wise this laptop looks sharp, very subtle and can pass for a business laptop while still looking cool for gaming. The keyboard is easy and comfortable to type on and I like that it has a full number pad. I recently was in the process of upgrading my computers to all AMD and getting away from intel+nvidia. This is one of the only laptop options I saw that came with an AMD processor and AMD graphics. After booting up I noticed there was limited bloatware and limited updates needed which was cool. I picked up this laptop on a back to school deal for $750 and I actually grabbed an open box excellent condition model for $700 so it was a great bang for the buck. I am upgrading from a lenovo slim with Intel 370m gpu. That graphics card couldn't handle any gaming whatsoever, i would constantly crash out so I traded it in for this laptop and I am very impressed for the price. I would not pay $1100 for this but $900 or less this is great. The reason why I do not think it is worth $1100. The SSD is really small. I only downloaded 3 games and I'm currently left with only 174 gb of free storage, I will an another SSD but there's an extra expense. Next is the RAM. While 16gb of RAM is great for most, I do notice a difference between 16gb and 32gb so there's an extra expense. My last complaint is that the WiFi card can not seem to pick up the WiFi 6 connection in my house. I played around with it for a while and am giving up and just upgrading the wifi card so there's another expense. I feel like I got an amazing price, a great product on an open box and this laptop is a perfect laptop for AMD loyalists. I played spiderman and read dead redemption 2 on it and averaged 90 FPS and 120 FPS respectively on HIGH settings, before I upgraded the RAM to 32gb. I haven't opened up the laptop yet but from what i've read there is 2 m.2 slots and 2 RAM slots which is AWESOME news. Totally satisfied and as long as your someone that can handle an easy m.2 install I think you will love this laptop too. PS the battery life is really good while unplugged. Spent a few nights web browsing for hours and didn't have to worry about my battery. I

    Great beginner gaming laptop

This is my first gaming laptop after using a mid-to-highend custom build PC for years, and I’m enjoying it after getting it on sale for $650. Feel like I really got a steal during Black Friday! It runs well, only had one issue with freezing while trying to take a screenshot during Balatro. But I’ve run a number of other games on it—Enshrouded, Octopath Traveler, and Nine Sols—and they all run really well. Battery life when gaming is pretty abysmal, about an hour, but I don’t use it unplugged most of the time anyways. Fan can get loud when running games, but that’s to be expected. Same with charger getting fairly hot. Last small, but nitpicky complaint is the color and material of the laptop can pick up fingerprints pretty easily (pic included). It can be cleaned, but just something to be aware of. Visuals are gorgeous and games run very smooth. Audio is mid, but if you’re PC gaming you’ll probably have some better headphones anyways. All in all, I’d recommend purchasing this, especially if you can get it on sale like I did.
