Q: What is the capacity of the battery? How long does the battery last?
A: Runs for about 4-5 hours browsing and using office. 1 hour or less gaming. Not sure where Asus got their info
Q: Does this laptop have an SD card slot (reader)?
A: No. Not on the laptop itself, but I use a hub with it that does have an sd slot reader. Works great!
Q: Is one of the 8gb memory ram soldered to the motherboard or are both upgradable?
A: Yes, this model comes with 2x RAM socket, upgradeable to 32GB.

A: This laptop has a display that has a brightness of 250 nits.
A: It is normal, just like any other brand with the same hardware configuration, for the fan to spin at full-throttle and generates noise louder than normal while the laptop is under heavy load like gaming, especially during the initial WINDOWS setup and WINDOWS Update installation. Also, the fan noise will be louder while antivirus software or malware are running continuously in the background. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle and noise will be louder than normal. It does decreases or normalizes once utilization goes down.
Q: Does it come with Windows 11 or Windows 10?
A: Mine came with Windows 10 which I prefer.
Q: Does this have Thunderbolt port?
A: No it does not.
