- A: AnswerWe use the base at one end of the house on the ground floor. One portable is about 60 feet away on the second floor. Seems to work fine. House is typical wood frame construction, composite shingles, with little to no metal in structure, other than plumbing. One feature that would be nice would be the ability to use the intercom with fewer button or menu selections. The intercom function is complex to use for an elderly person. But the phone works well. Hope this helps.

- A: AnswerCalls from anyone in your directory automatically go through to you and bypass the call blocker. You have 3 options with this phone: 1. callers must say their name and press # for the call to go through 2. callers must press # (only) for the call to go through 3. turn off the call blocker and let all calls go through There doesn't seem to be a way to block only robocalls, but I've had several people call who weren't in my directory and they thought it was a great option to stop spam. I could add their numbers directly from the caller ID to the directory in a couple of steps, and future calls from them bypassed the call blocker feature b/c they were in the directory.

A: AnswerYes, a total of 12 satellite cordless phones will work with this base station. This particular model comes with the base station and two satellite cordless phones, but is also sold as a kit with just one cordless or three cordless phones. The add on cordless phone that works with this base station is modem CL80107 and sells for about $20.Answered by Pickle
- A: AnswerI think it can work even if not plugged into an electrical outlet, but its connection to the other two phones may not work in that case. Also, features other than the basic phone connection probably won't work.

Home/Office Landline Phone ☎️
This phone was and is perfect for my home needs. The main base is my home office connected to house modem, and the two cordless handheld phones are at the kitchen/living room bar and in the master bedroom. Easy to follow setup for digital phone features.
