Bob PetHair SLAM: The High-Tech Helper. With his software engineered entirely in the U.S. and Canada, Bob’s Quantum Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (QSLAM), pioneers Real-Time Computing (RTC) in robot vacuums. Bob respects your privacy: never does he send images anywhere—servers, cloud or otherwise—be it of your room layout or your cleaning habits. Bob boots in just 6 seconds—faster than any robot vacuum with LiDar—and identifies rooms at first glance, without wasting your time with an exploration session. Enjoy a detailed and color-coded map, and feel free to practice your drawing skills: use the app to draw any shape of NoSweep Zones or working areas when necessary or when bored, and Bob will follow. And if paw prints don’t quite match your decor, attach Bob’s wet mop, and voila! Use Alexa or Google to boss Bob around, or schedule a customized cleaning plan to send Bob to any area, at the time you choose. Bob's quality build is backed by his unmatched 2-year warranty that also covers labor and battery.
Pet hair, don’t care
With TurboLift technology and adjustable suction settings, SLAM is specially designed to collect everything from the toughest pet hair to the lightest dust bunny.
One bot, two appliances
Bob complements powerful vacuuming with motorized mopping to deliver a complete clean.
Large and in charge
600 mL dustbin and 350 mL water reservoir are among the largest you can get. Bob holds more, so you work less.
App, no mishap
Smooth, clean, refreshing. Exactly what you expect it to be. Supports Bluetooth fast Wi-Fi pairing with a 2.4 GHz WiFi network
Devise your clean
Edit, personalize, and customize Bob’s cleaning map. Draw any shape of cleaning areas or NoSweep zones, enable Room-to-Room cleaning, and more. Alexa and Google Home enabled.
Double the power
Main brush and twin side brushes spin in tandem to tackle large scraps, dust, and hair collected along baseboards and in the corners.
Not afraid of the dark
Bob’s edge detection can be paused via the app, so he braves over dark surfaces that other robots may avoid.
Unparalleled cruising
No training run or exploration session needed; Bob maps on the fly, while his proprietary SLAM technology keeps track of his location, and plans a thorough coverage of the area.
Unbreakable confidence
Bob’s industry-leading warranty is 24-months, includes labor, and covers the battery too.

Q: QuestionWill this pick up scattered kitty litter (the clay type)?(4 answers)
A: AnswerI don't know how large of a clump, but if it is the overflow from the kitty litter box it might because it picks up my dogs kibble. If you want to contact the company, they are really good at answering any questions. They helped me and responded the next day. Hope this helps you.Answered by Chachi
Q: QuestionCan you map multiple floors? Ie first and second floor,(4 answers)
A: AnswerDon't let Bob go down stairs, you'll both be unhappy. You can carry Bob from one floor to another. The app will save up to 3 maps, so save the original map before you move Bob to the new floor. Have Bob start with a fresh map on the fresh floor and all will work well. Unless you have another charging station on the new floor, Bob will complain that it can't charge once it's done cleaning. You can carry it back to the charger on the first floor—just make sure you save and switch the map back before you let Bob loose on the original floor.Answered by anonymous
- A: AnswerMine has trouble getting over heater vents in floor. Always getting caught up on it. Has problems with throw rugs also so I don’t think it will go over your floor transition.

- A: AnswerThere was one day where my bob was completely dead. Try flipping it over and unscrewing the batter compartment and unplug the battery for a few minutes, then plug it back it. Make sure that your charging base has a green led light and make sure that the contact points on the bob and charging base are touching.

- A: AnswerNo, they say it will eventually. The app is very limited in what you can program it to do.

SLAM technology is very nice
Bob is a pretty cool product. He maps out the home initially and does a great job and ensuring the entire floor gets cleaned by zig zagging through the house. He gets stuck from time to time, so you’ll need to removed specific rugs, cords, or things from the floor before starting him up. But the unit is great at stopping it before any damage occurred. Overall, the SLAM technology is pretty awesome. I added a picture of my daughters drawing of Bob, because in our home he's an addition to the family. He finds his way back to the charging dock and everything can be managed from the app, including a schedule, or even a quick clean in a specific area like the kitchen or kitty litter. Very happy with the purchase because he is much more efficient than a broom, or even vacuum and does the heavy lifting for me, since I have so much hardwood. One thing to lookout for: cost of replacement parts are pretty expensive. It does come with two extra brushes and an extra filter, but beyond that, they're priced at retail to make good profits on the replacement parts.

Great vacuum, great customer service, so-so app
Vacuum works well and is easy to maintain. It deftly navigates my somewhat crowded floor plan with ease. Mop attachment does what it needs to do, but I have some complaints with the app in regards to this. There is no way to manually trigger the vacuum to only clean a particular set of rooms, you can only do this via a schedule to clean multiple rooms, or by individually selecting each room and having the vacuum clean each room one by one. As of the writing of this review, they also seem to have omitted the ability to set a scheduled cleaning in the mop setting. What this means, in practice, is if I want to have it mop my hard floor rooms I have to sit with the app open and select each room for a targeted cleaning. Pretty annoying. The other complaint I have is with the construction. There is a small rubber piece attached to the roller of the main brush assembly that is quite easy to lose while cleaning the brush. After cleaning out the brush over the trash can, i took the trash out and threw it in the dumpster before realizing i had lost this piece. I contacted bobsweep support, fully expecting to have to pay a nominal fee for replacement of this part, but to my surprise they sent me a whole new brush assembly (which i didn’t even need) and several extra replacements for the rubber piece, free of charge. Quality customer service like that is hard to come by and I think any flaws with the product are perfectly tolerable in light of this.

Pleasantly surprised with my new best friend!
I cannot compare my experience with "Bob" with other robotic vacuums for he is my first. I always resisted purchasing a robotic vacuum because I thought that I would have too many obstacles that would prevent a thorough vacuuming of my small apartment; however, Bob vacuums and places that I rarely got to and now are vacuumed daily i.e. under our sofa, under our china cabinet, and under the dining room chairs and a couple other end tables. I hate to admit it, but vacuuming was usually something only done when I knew a visitor was coming and it certainly did not include the spaces previously mentioned. I ask Bob to vacuume daily (sometimes more than once!) and he does so without complaint, including under the couch, etc. I was warned about a few things from friends who owned robotic vacuums, but they not proven to be so with Bob. He runs at night quietly and does not require lighting. He has only gotten himself stuck a couple of times (on cords and at the base of my sofa before replacing my legs with slightly taller ones). He was following my automated schedule until my cat decided to drop a pile of feces on the floor in anger over me moving his litter box and Bob managed to get pretty messy and smear the poop, so no more schedules for me! I now do a quick look around and then ask Google to vacuum and Bob does his thing! I do wish I had the ability to tell Google to vacuum one room or the other, but I can do this using the app which is fairly easy to navigate and learn. My Bob is a dark red ("Jasper") and looks as nice as a vacuum can look within my decor. It does not have automatic emptying of the bin, but it's so easy that this is not a big deal to me. Thanks Bob!
