Your product isn't working? Don't worry.
To get help, just bring your product into a Best Buy store. For any covered issue, we'll repair your product, get you a replacement (if the product is available), or issue you a store credit or gift card up to the original purchase price, including taxes.
If there's a hardware failure, we'll repair or replace your product
This could be a problem with an internal part, how the cell phone accessory was manufactured or normal wear and tear. It could also be caused by dust, internal heat or humidity. Accidental damage is not included.
If your cell phone accessory won't turn on because of a power surge, count on us to make it right
You're covered if there's a power surge or fluctuation that damages your product. This includes a surge caused by a lightning strike.

How does Geek Squad Protection work with your manufacturer warranty?
During the original manufacturer's warranty period, most repairs will be handled by the manufacturer. Keep in mind that Geek Squad Protection often covers important repairs that your manufacturer warranty doesn't, like failure due to a power surge, even during the manufacturer’s warranty period.
If something goes wrong after the original manufacturer warranty ends, Geek Squad Protection has your back and will take care of any covered repairs.
Repairs are performed by either Geek Squad or one of our authorized third-party contractors. We require our third-party contractors to conduct a background check on any person they hire to enter your home.
