Q: Hi! Does this receiver work with 6ohm and 8ohm speakers? It's says on the specs 4ohm minimum but this is all new to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

A: The answer is yes, this AVR can support speakers from 4-8ohms. Just press and hold the main unit's STATUS and ZONE3 SOURCE at the same time for at least 3 seconds. Then select as below: 8 ohms: Select when the impedance for all of the connected speakers is 8 Ω/ohms or over. This is the default setting. 6 ohms: Select when the impedance for any of the connected speakers is 6 Ω/ohms. 4 ohms: Select when the impedance for any of the connected speakers is 4 Ω/ohms. Then press ENTER to complete the setting. Please refer to the owners manual, page 43.

Q: Hi, does this model number with the "A" at the end of it mean it has the reduced quality DAC (digital analog conversion chip)? vs the previous version due to global shortage?

A: No the "A" at the end of the model number is a designation that this model has the fixed the HDMI 2.1 bug. This allows 4k at 120hz or 8k at 60hz a feature desirable for next gen consoles like PS5 or Xbox Series X

Q: How many watts is this receiver

A: I previously made a mistake . I counted 11.2 channels you are correct it is 15 channels.

Q: Hello, does this receiver can processing 15 channels pre out with external amp.?

A: Hello, fifteen speakers may be connected, but only thirteen channels can be processed. Two channels can be assigned for Auro 3D, and the receiver will automatically switch to Auro 3D channels when an Auro 3D signal is received.
