Does the job...
||Posted .If installed properly it does exactly what the $200 ones do. I tried one out for my 55” and it’s very secure. I just ordered another one for the 65” and I believe it will hold great.

Easy and effective
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. It's certainly a basic bracket without many frills, but for the price it does what's it's supposed to. I used it to mount a 70" and it was simple to use.

Works OK - BEWARE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Posted .I mounted a 65" TV with this. It works fine when complete. However, I used a 1/4 inch drill bit to drill the pilot holes per instructions. Not sure if they've changed the size of the lag bolts, but the bolts were too small for these pilot holes - they would just swim around and not bite. I had to redrill 1/8 inch pilot holes and the lag bolts would then bite. Also, the template provided for installation has drill locations at ~ 15 3/4" apart. Why? Studs are 16" apart in most homes. I bagged the template and simply drilled in the center of studs per my stud finder. Also, when the tilt adjustment is in the full upright/untilted position, it is more difficult to finish hanging the TV due to a piece of metal that protrudes near the clips. It is easier to mount on the wall in a tilted position. But, then you either need super long arms or the worlds longest Philips head screwdriver to get to the adjustment bolts to straighten up the TV. Frankly, between the questionable instructions and design flaw noted above, you may find an easier mounting option out there.

Perfect mount
||Posted .Bought this unit on a sale Best Buy had online for $12. Can't go wrong for $12 dollars! At first I was a little nervous after seeing my 65" Vizio(73lbs) hanging in the wall. It has been a little over a month and not only I feel like the tv is not going anywhere but it also looks great. Just make sure you use the right tools to install it correctly. Use stud finders and the I got a in wall cable kit for Home Depot and no cables showing at all. I'm happy with the purchase and for the price I got it for. Even at regular price is still much cheaper than most of the other ones and it gives you the option to tilt the tv as well. Defenetly recommend if you don't want to break the bank. This mount works just like the $100 ones. Hope this helps

Great tv mount
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed. The wall mount was everything I had expected, and the product was shipped fast as usual from Amazon. The only reason this product receives 4 stars from my perspective, is due to the fact that the instructions state that this tv mount needs to be screwed into the studs in the wall. This is what posed a problem in my house, as the studs were spaced at a greater distance than the typical 16" on center. When trying to install the mount on the center of the wall that I was hoping my TV could sit, I reluctantly found that my stud alignment would not match any of the pre-drilled holes on the TV mount. I was left with 3 options: Try to drill holes in the mount in order to properly align the mount on the center of the wall, install my TV off center on the wall, or install a "backer board" such as 1/4" plywood behind the mount (thus eliminating the "low profile" that this mount boasted. I opted for the latter. I had wished this mount had provided more pre-drilled holes in order to best suit any wall condition, and still install the mount per the instructions. Other than this fact, the mount is of decent quality, and has supported my 40" TV with no issues upon installation.

Q: QuestionThe picture shows two rods hanging down. Are they removable and/or visible when the tv is mounted?
Asked by JFriday.
- A:Answer The things hanging down are actually cords that you pull on to release the mount if you need to take the TV off the wall. They can be easily tucked away. The mount is completely obscured by my Sony 55", and mounts very solidly on the wall.

Q: QuestionIs it easily accessible to change the cords behind the TV or does the TV need to be removed in order to access the back of the TV?
Asked by twinkie1125.
- A:Answer It depends on where the inputs are. On my TV, I can put plugs in by feel. but have trouble seeing the input holes.

Q: QuestionNone of the screws that came with mount work to screw the brackets into the TV. Only two screw in, one too small and one too long even with or without the spacers! I've tried all combinations. Helpl.
Asked by TK.
- A:Answer You can use more washers to compensate the length.

Q: QuestionAre you able to tilt the tv whenever you want or when you set it up is it fixed to just that one position
Asked by Vic.
- A:Answer You can in theory change the tilt whenever you want. You do this by reaching in behind the TV to loosen two Philips head screws which lock the tilt mechanism in place. I will tell you that reaching these screws is quite difficult on a larger TV (mine is 65"). You need long skinny arms and/or a very long Philips head screw driver. In reality, I think the approach with this mount is to set it and forget it.

Q: QuestionHello, can anyone give the dimensions of the mounting plate? Will it work with a 24"stud gap and how much distance is between the top and bottom mounting holes? I have holes from previous owners tv, trying to find a mount that will work with what is there
Asked by Craig.
- A:Answer The wall plate dimensions are 18.1" x 5.51". This wall mount won't work with 24" wood studs. The distance between the top and bottom holes is 16.1".
