A: Yes, you can use this camera to record videos.
Q: Can this be operated off of a battery? What is the voltage required?
A: It does not have an on board battery or the ability to put a battery in to it however it is operated by a USB cord that might be able to be plugged into a external battery I have not tried it
Q: What is the maximum SD card capacity that this takes?
A: The maximum capacity for an SD card is 128GB.
Q: where is the antenna? My Wi-Fi cameras have antennas.
A: Built inside. Wifi work great
Q: Can I mount these or not? If so which mount goes with this camera?
A: This unit comes with a fitted mount. Because it has a 360 degree view it can be mounted to any flat surface, vertically or horizontally. The mount includes two fastening screws and wall anchors. It is very lightweight but I would not recommend double-stick tape fastener if it will be supporting its own weight.
A: This unit has four installation requirements. 1. It must remain dry. It is designed for indoor use. 2. It must remain within the temperature range that you would expect an indoor device to be in. 3. There must be a power outlet within 6' of its mounting location. 4. It must be within Wi-Fi range of your wireless router.
A: The camera has to be powered with the included AC/USB power adapter included in the pack.
A: Yes you can watch the camera live view for couple of minutes without timing out depending on your WiFi bandwidth capability. Please note: minimum recommendation for WiFi for each Ezviz camera is 1.5 Mbps Upload speed.
