Q: Hello, I have never owned a google pixel before neither I am covered by the sprint coverage. I wanted to know which option while buying the google pixel 4 should I select? Thank you.

A: My first pixel was the 2XL, and I upgraded to the 4XL when it came out in November. I love the Pixel and plan to stick with it until something drastic negativity impacts my opinion. The battery lasts approximately 15 hours with moderate use of games, moderate use of Netflix/Hulu, and light usage of video chat such as Facebook Messenger. I only have to plug it in at late evening after all of that. Google Assistant is great for accessing and doing things hands free. I don't care much for the gestures; I get them all goofed up, and sometimes when I was trying to do one thing (like scrolling), it thought I was trying to do something else (like go to the home screen); but I am just simplistic that way. The volume is great; I like that there is a speaker in the top and bottom of the phone so that you have stereo when you have the phone in landscape for watching videos. The camera is awesome. It is so bright and clear. I have no had any fuzz/pixilation issues unless it was high motion shot or extreme low light setting. I like how it lets you select the best shot out of numerous recorded still shots just before and just after I press the shutter button. What I don't like: No fingerprint option. Putting in my pin takes a long time, the face recognition sometimes makes me hold my phone out at a ridiculous arm length, it unlocks sometimes when I don't want it to, and my 11 year-old admitted to me a few days ago that he has unlocked my phone by holding it up in front of my face while I am sleeping. What?! At least with the fingerprint option I would feel him trying to manipulate my finger on the sensor (I am a light sleeper). Give me back my fingerprints option! Overall I think it is a great phone and would give it 4.5/5 stars - for which I have taken off 0.5 star for no fingerprint option.. As far as the carrier goes, that is your call. Pick the carrier you like and buy the phone through them. I have always been partial to Verizon because of thier coverage.

Q: ITS BEEN A MONTH WHEN WILL I GET MY GOOGLE PIXEL 4 XL FROM SPRINT. NO UPDATES NO EMAIL JUST A MESSAGE SAYING DELAYED. HELP ME OUT HERE???

A: Took me over a month too and I finally got mine so you should be getting yours I ordered mine November 29 didn't get it till Jan 10!!!!

Q: Is this offer for existing Sprint users or new Sprint users?

A: I'm pretty sure it's available for both new & existing customer's on Sprint. If you click on the link beside the phone that is the actual name of the phone underlined in blue letters, it will take you to a whole new page. Which is where I read something like " get activated/connected on your account or sign up for a new account". I'm not quoting it 100% exactly but it also stated "once you choose a carrier to activate your new Google Pixel 4 on it will be locked to that carrier*" Fine print *some carrier's DO have the ability to unlock it. Q: How long does it take monthly billing credit to appear on my sprint bill?

A: I talked to a Geek Squad manager when I upgraded and he told me it's about 2 - 3 billing cycles before the credits start kicking in.

A: Something is WRONG with your transaction. It took me 2 days to get my Pixel 4XL (which I purchased from Best Buy) and then I went to my local Best Buy to activate it and transfer the data from my old phone. Simple enough.

Good Enough for Government Work
I will stop you right here. If you want a Samsung phone, buy a Samsung If you want an Apple, buy an Apple. If you want a pure Android (google created Android OS) phone that will give you a truly different experience for phones, you should just buy this one. Down Sides (Google needs to step it up these categories) only 6GB Ram, this phone will be fine today but in 2 years...Probably not. If they would have gone with 8GB we could see this phone lasting to 3+ years. Smaller battery than the competition. Don't get the smaller Pixel if battery is on your concern list in any way. If battery is a primary concern for you, go with the Samsung Note 10 with signifgantly better battery life. Again, google met the bar here, but only just. I would rate the smaller Pixel 4 a 1 star as the phone won't make it through a day of use. Pixel 4 XL will do a day, but you don't have the feeling you can truly push the limits. Gimmick City. I can't review the motion since but that is because I haven't found a use for it yet. The face ID works but they needed to put finger print on this phone as well to help the transition. The problem with Face ID, along with security concerns, is the lack of ability to work for most banking apps (or nearly any app as of 11/12/2019). This will surely come with time but Google should have put a finger print scanner on this phone to help with the transition period. No headphone jack. Blue tooth or dongle up. Not a pageant winner. If looks matter the Samsung, One Plus, and even Apple all look better. Only 64GB or 128GB version and no way to put a micro SD card in the phone. This is horrible. I highly recommend going with the 128GB version. This is a rip off but if you don't splurge here you will later for google storage. I recommend Amazon Pictures for back up and delete of you phone. But upgrades and apps alone will probably fill up 64GB in the next 2 years. The Good The phone has cool features. It listens to any music (think shazam) at all times and does not drain the battery. It will show you the tune your listening too on the lock screen. If you have face ID on this may be hard to see before unlocking the phone. I don't know where else to find the information. (just thought of this issue as I was typing this) The phone can be integrated into your existing google systems. Squeeze the phone for google Assistance. Face ID is truly amazing, very quick and responsive. I know I harped on this in the negative but it is a great system. Call quality is fantastic! This goes both ways. Everyone I talk to says I sound better. I came from a Samsung S7 Edge. So I may not know how good recent phones are. 90hz screen is super smooth. This phone is solid. I can't complain as most of the negatives don't apply to me. But because of the amount of negatives and better phones out there I have to say that your better of avoiding this version. Unless you get a great deal, the price isn't worth it. I said I would not recommend this to a friend, simply because everyone has different needs.

Excellent Phone! Great Camera!
I'm having a blast with my Pixel 4 XL. The camera is great, the refresh rate looks amazing, and the battery life is awesome. I hear a lot of complaints about battery - I'm not understanding why. My old phones would just drain at work even when not in use. I leave now with 85-90 percent each day. I really like the facial recognition too. Unlocks quick - I don't even miss the fingerprint scanner. That's the reason I waited to get this phone in the first place. The radar is tight too. Once you understand how to use it to change songs and stuff, it's nice. At first it's tough to get the movement and placement of hands, but now it works great. Just a learning curve.

Good upgrade from the 2XL
I honestly wasn't going to upgrade, but BB had the $7.50 a month (24) promo, which was too good to pass up. The phone is totally worth the upgrade at the promo price, but I wouldn't have done it at the $20 a month price. As far as the phone. It is much snappier than the 2XL. Display, battery life, camera, and Google assistant makes the upgrade worth it for me. I also got the Google Next Hub promo for free, which was a nice consolation prize for waiting almost a month for the phone.
