Hisense - 55" Class U7G Series Quantum 4K ULED Android TV

I love this product overall for the price a 4K Quantum dot tv, there is not another TV in this price point for this visual quality. I did initially struggle with the audio quality changing the values in settings to support wall mount, as well as tweaking the equalizer helped as well. After tuning the audio quality we have been very happy with the TV. The Android TV software and framework is quick and very efficient. I loved moving from an older Samsung to this because loading streaming platforms often took a while, where was here it was almost instant. The Television going to screen saver after 5 minutes of being paused was awesome. I did have to learn that the screen saver did not mean that the streaming program underneath it was stopped, so pressing play allowed for a quick return to the show or movie I was watching. If there was any negative to discuss it would be the remote control, a nice high quality TV like this should have a remote the reflects the price / performance range being targeted. I love the Bluetooth, as well as the remote buttons for direct launching specific apps. We have had a hard time with Bluetooth being as easy to initially use but got it figured out. Using the remote on the phone is awesome as well. The remote while functional does feel low quality, some additional robustness and an optional programmable button for a specific app would be amazing as well. Just installed Hisense U7 55", unboxing was easy and intuitive. A little bit excessive with taping, especially on the screen, I understand it's necessary for shipping, but it could be done in a little bit more user-friendly manner. TV stands that attach to the bottom of TV are made of solid metal and feel very premium and super sturdy. TV weight is decent and allows for one person installation. Set-up is very easy and user-friendly including connecting to home Wi-Fi and syncing accounts. Within 5 minutes I was already watching Netflix and watching music video of my YouTube account. Sound quality is OK but if you have sound bar, you'd probably want to continue using it. Picture quality and colors are absolutely amazing, 4k resolution is noticeable right away and it makes the new purchase so worth it. It is my first Hisense TV, so I was a bit cautious about the new brand but so far, all the first impressions I had are really good. I replaced my current TV with Hisense U7 55” in my living room and I don't regret.

This TV is so awesome that I bought two of them. My wife and I can sit here and watch TV or games separately as we wish. I’ll buy another even. Hdmi 2.1 for your 120fps gaming is what hit me!

I'm writing this review after having the TV for more than a year. Purchased this TV instead of opting for the more expensive Samsung option and I'm glad that this is a great contender. The image quality looks great on regular 1080p content as it should and even better when watching 4K content or movies/shows with Dolby Vision. Sound is average, buyer's preference if they want to buy a set of 5.1 or better speakers to support the watching experience.

I read many reviews for a gaming tv under $1000 and I decided this model had more features for the price. Android tv works great. I recommend a basic sound bar for this tv. The built in speakers are average. Make sure and use hdmi port 3 or 4 for the Ps5 or Xbox Series X. It actually went on sale after I purchased it and I saved a hundred and seventy dollars of the normal price.

My honest opinion for this tv is that its a great but for the price. The picture for me is the the most important thing and it looks amazing and specially on games on which its designed for. Unlike other brands this tv's audio is awsome you can definitely hear all around the house what i'm playing that's how powerfull the speakers are. The tv is also very light to hang and mount on wall if desired, it's also designed not too bulky and that's always a plus. I would definitely recommend Hisense to others.

I am highly impressed with this TV. My main reason for purchasing it was for my Xbox Series X and man does it run smoothly. Being able to play in 4K 120hz with Dolby Vision with such low input lag is AMAZING! I would recommend this to anyone that is budget minded but wants the most for your buck. Worth every penny.
