Customers value the HyperDrive 7-in-1 USB-C Hub Stand for its portability, allowing for easy use and setup. They appreciate the additional USB ports it provides, increasing its functionality. The stand feature is also well-received, enhancing the overall user experience. While some concerns about durability and cost have been raised, many customers find the product to be a worthwhile investment.
Purchased it today and the first impression when I opened it is...mediocre? - Pros: + All ports worked well as its specifications said, fast and stable. Just plug and play. + The combination between a laptop foldable stand and multiport hub is fantastic. I like this design better than the J5create docking station since I don't have to reach behind hub to connect cable or having the hub dangles beside my lap. + 2 separate USB-C ports seem not a big deal, but well, convenient for me. + Pretty compact and fashionable, just fold in, throw inside backpack and walla! Still have some space left for other devices. - Cons: + Hyperdrive really need to care more about quality control. The first hub I bought had a lot of scuff marks on the frame and cable looked like it's being used for months (minus points on comestic imperfection), so I immediately exchanged for a second and the situation seemed better (just a tad). + Fairly sharp edges with unfinished surfaces, same for 2nd hub. Not kidding, try to feel it with your hands or scrub the edges on paper and see it for yourself. + Flimsy build quality, though the frame is aluminum but the connection parts feel extremely weak and I worry with a little bit of strength, this thing may break apart. + Frame is not aligned right, you could actually move the base up and down. + The ports housing is made by cheap plastic, squeeze it tight my actually pop it. + Long cable is a plus, but cable organizing is a negative. - In Conclusion: This is nice Laptop stand Usb-C hub, one of a kind I ever seen. But for all the cons mentioned, $99 is a questionable price for me.

I love this thing. I've had it about 5 months and its been working great for me. It seems flimsy at first, but you just have to learn how to use it. I'd like a second one so I can keep one in my desk and one in my backpack, but it's not exactly cheap. But I guess you really do get what you pay for ... This thing folds compact, so you can take it anywhere. People often walk up to me an ask where I got it. The design looks simple, but gives you a lot of ability to adjust the screen height. The other day, I was able to get it just right for a video meeting. I wouldn't want to type a novel on it, but the keyboard is very usable here, unlike my other stand that demands you use a separate keyboard. This is very valuable when using it away from home or office. And the ports mean I don't need to carry a separate hub or docking station. The only caution is that you really do need to get accustomed to setting it up securely and in a place where no one will bump into it, just to keep that computer safe from falling.

I work from home and I needed a stand for my working laptop since I work with 2 extra monitors and use a wireless mouse and extra keyboard, this was very helpful for me due to its extra ports.
