Improve kitchen safety with this white iGuardStove electric stove monitor. The motion sensor and preset timer shuts off an unmonitored stove, preventing potential fires, while the manual override lets you roast and simmer without interruptions. This iGuardStove electric stove monitor features a recent history feature that tracks your stove use.
Q: Does it shut off the oven as well or just the stove?
A: undefined
Q: Do you have a model for a 3-prong plug?
A: Thank for your inquiry of the iGuardStove. I’m sorry to say this but no we do not make the 3-prong anymore. It’s for an older outdated ungrounded electrical system and we didn’t get that many calls for them. However, due to a situation with a large clients we are going to re-introduce the 3-prong this year and its currently going through re-certification right now and probably will not be available until late summer 2020. In the meantime, we do have a workaround that is both simple and inexpensive. It involves replacing the existing wall outlet for the stove as well as the stoves cord from 3-prong to 4-prong. I have attached a sheet to explain the process. It’s not an instruction sheet as we have to recommend that you get a qualified electrician to do this but with homeowners doing their own modifications these days, if you have a handyman that can do this for you it’s really not that hard.
