Q: Does the iBT56 record video if a app is downloaded?
A: The iBT56 is a Rechargeable Wireless Speaker that connects to an audio device via bluetooth. This speaker does not record video.
Q: Is this speaker compatible with an Echo Dot?

A: if the top blue light is flashing fast its trying to re-pair to your device. best bet is to forget the connection and re-pair it like the first time. also if the battery is getting low it can sometimes just shut down. remember that you have to push bluetooth button in back to make speaker discoverable.
A: Press and hold the power button on the speaker to turn the speaker on, The first time the unit is powered on, it will automatically enter pairing mode.
