Q: Is this kit compatible with a Nikon D200?
A: I don't think so. It works via Bluetooth.
Q: How do you replace battery in remote? Just got kit and it seems as if it needs a battery.
A: Should be a slider on the botton that slides the battery out.
Q: Will the remote work with the Canon EOS SL2?
A: It works in an EOS Rebel T3i
A: It is IR (infrared), and doesn't need to be synced. You will need to put your camera in remote shutter mode though, and point the remote at the IR receiver on your camera. You should check the D3400 manual on how to change the shutter mode on your camera, and where the IR receivers are on your camera.
Q: does the remote work for a sony a6000
A: It “worked” with my Sony a6300 but only a few times and not reliably.
A: I think it depends on your camera. If you have the shutter button on your camera set up to start and stop video it should work that way on the device. But don't take my word for it cause I could be wrong.
