I thought it was great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Interesting documentary of James Cameron and crew designing and building a deep sea sub and Cameron's trip down in that sub. The 3d was a nice addition with the effects ranging from pretty good to great depending on the scene. Any fan of Imax 3d presentations and Ghosts of the Abyss 3d will surely like this one too.

Superb Pre-view 4 Imax Presentation Jan 2015
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Deepsea Challenge Blu-ray covers the development & trial runs through & including the 1st Mariana Trench dive. Highly recommended before seeing the IMAX 3D presentation scheduled for release in Jan 2015.

Interesting but not too exciting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This documentary is interesting but not very exciting. It is also pretty short at 90 minutes and the release is really lacking in the special features department with only two very brief featurettes included.

Decent documentary
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Interesting even though it comes off as a self tribute by James Cameron at times - guess he's earned that right... 3D varies from average at best to wow - overall worth watching.

good 3d
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A bit slow getting started, too much build-up. Good 3D when he wasn't diving so deep. but that far down there is really nothing to see. Lots of sand and silt.
