Q: Can you use the plastic refillable cups to brew coffee or does it only take the Keurig K-cups?
A: As long as the Keurig is not a 2.0 or greater model, it will accept plastic refillable cup. Anything after 2.0 model will require a specific refillable cup due to te scanner inside the machine itself.
Q: Does this model have a water filter that needs to be changed?
A: No it does not. When it is first turned on each day it does a descaling process then brews a perfect cup of coffee it specifies to clean every six months. Otherwise there is very little maintainence.
