Not Enough Bang for the Buck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a heavy headphone user, I use both earbuds and over the ear phones for about 1-4 hours per day. I am a big fan of the Klipsch S4i's and have been using those for about 2 years, as well as Bowers & Wilkins C5 earbuds. The Klipsch S4's are without a doubt the best earphones you can buy for under $100, and they outperform many of the other competors that are almost twice as much money. For the expensive price tag that goes along with Klipsch X10i's, I was really expecting for these to blow me away. I really liked them, they do sound better and more clear than the S4's, but not $200-$350 better (depending if you buy them on sale). The biggest perk is how comfortable they are. They feel so good in the ear that you could fall asleep with them on, I don't think I could say the same about any other earbuds. The sound is good, lots of bass, I was however expecting the mids and highs to be a little more defined. I found this to be lacking, especially when listening to classical music. If the retail value of X10i's were around the $150 price range, they'd get 5 stars from me instead of 3.5.

Read my review if you want a true one!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried nearly every headphones, in ear and over the ear and few have made the cut in my opinion. I have a extremely high taste when it comes to sound and I have an excellent memory when it come to specific sounds from each headphone I've tried. I've tried Bowers and Wilkins C5 & P5, and klipsch Image One Over the ear, klipsch s4 & s4i, Bose in ear and over the ear headphones, beats in the ear and over the ear headphones, and too too many to list here. I have bought and returned and never found a pair that really satisfied my taste for sound. I have to say that these headphones sound amazing. They are not too far away from the Klipsch s4i at first listen. It's not until you listen to certain parts of certain songs but when those parts come you really hear what these headphones are capable of, and when that comes you will be amazed. I've read over reviews on these headphones from CNET and others which state that these headphones lack in the bass category. That is far from the truth, you will be amazed at the bass of these headphones while being able to keep the song completely clear and crisp allowing you to hear the highs, miss, and lows of every part of every song, never distorting or muddying up the sound. It's absolutely amazing. Get a pair of these headphones while you still can at the new low price. I was able to pick these up for $189.98 and its far worth the price. Oh and I didn't even get to the point of comfort yet, these headphones are the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever had. Light weight and due to their thin shape, they fit in the canal better and more comfortably then most in ear headphones. & the stock silicone tips are able to isolate the sound due to their shape. Well worth the money and the wait for shipping.

Excellent headphones for audiophiles
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have listended to my Klipsch X10i headphones for over 6 months now. I utilize them everyday. The dual flanged tips provide an excellent seal with incredible comfort. I do not listen to my "high end" Shures or Ultimate Ears anymore. The Klipsch X10i headphones provide a dynamic audio range for deep bass, exquisite highs, and a detailed midrange. If you doubt that a $349 set of headphones can make that big of a difference in your music listening experience then you have never really listened to music before. You will hear background vocals and instruments on songs like never before. If you like music then you owe it to your ears to hear music how the artists intended you to hear it.

Great Sound

Not Worth the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The same quality can be found in products that cost around $100 less. I find that the reason behind the Big price tag is just how imprissive it is that that much sound comes out of such a small speaker. It seems a bit costly just to have a tiny speaker.

Good if you don't like loud music
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi guys, first of all I'm not an audiophile, I'm a musician and music lover. I have a pair of shure se215 which were a pain to put on but great sounding. Ok here it is...plain and simple these things distort on my iPhone at %90 volume, yes that's loud but $350 should not distort at high volumes. My old $30 pair of headphones barely distorted at full volume. I read a review on amazon saying that these head phones might have been good when they came out in 2009. With today's high volume handling headphones, these should be priced at $50. My shures don't distort at all the the dynamic driver sounds better these BA's. Bottom line is...it doesn't matter if you listen to classical, jazz or gangster rap....headphones this price should not lose their sound when the volume is cranked....period.
