I Have own several klipsch subs. Sub-10, Sub-12, XW300D, SW-112.....All of those subs were good to me. I loved the output of the Sub-12, the articulate bass of the SW-112, and the was the XW300D, was able to dig extremely Deep with just a 8" sealed sub. I have been wanted to purchase the R115-SW, however I was waiting on a slight sale around the holidays. Supply was low and I was able to obtain one for about 180 bucks off MRSP. OMG, is all I could say. This subs has all the positives from my prior subs, none of the negatives. It is large, but on purpose. The sheer, output alone, and I haven't and never will need to turn it up pass the half way mark on the gain controller. Frequencies in the mid to low 20s where the other subs attempted to reproduce this sub laughs and asks for more. Articulate/Accurate/beautiful/Large/LOUD. Pairs extremely well with the RF-82ii's. This one is a keeper, and I do not feel like I overpaid for a sub. Extremely happy im sure other owners are as well. Kudos Klipsch, on this one. One recommendations is to hold UPS accountable for shipping this heavy beast. The box that it came in was tattered, and had many holes, and the Styrofoam was severely damaged, luckily the sub didn't have any scratches dents or dings.

Well this thing moves enough (well.....more then enough air) to shake up a room. This is definitely not a subwoofer for someone with a small room. It would overwhelm your room soo easily! My living room has a 18ft ceiling and the living room itself is about 1000sq ft and this subwoofer doesn't get put past a third up. It has plenty plenty of power. I use my system for high quality movie watching so I have this paired with a 112SW sub and 7 other klipsch speakers ranging from 4 tower speakers, two bookshelf speakers and a nice center speaker. There is soo much sound that comes out of them all. But this subwoofer in particular is only recommended for large livingrooms. Even the 112sw sub is powerful enough for my 1000sqft living room where it will shake my recliner while watching a movie with the gain up halfway.

Decided that my Bowers & Wilkins towers needed some help reproducing those lows...and decided to get something that could blow out the windows at home! I have been looking at a ton of different subwoofer options, and really wanted something that would be similar to what a lot of us experience in the car audio competition world. This is the first home theater sub that I have ever had that can make my shirt move when the lows hit! Seriously...you can feel this thing when it hits! So far, everything sounds amazing on this sub! The frequency response is amazing getting down below 20hz and sounding absolutely outstanding while doing so! 400 watts seems like a small number...don't let it fool you! If you want to feel the lows and feel the bass hit you in the chest on the hard-hitting bass...this is your sub!

I love my Klipsch speakers and have always had great results with Klipsch. I bought (2) of these bad boys for my 7.1 setup and they hit so freaking hard. And look at them! They are so sexy with those copper finished woofers. Are there better subs out there? Yeah, but for the money you really can't go wrong. If money were no object I'd buy the SVS PB16-ULTRA, but I don't have 2,500 bucks to blow on (1) single sub

First off. This thing is massive in size and sound. Works great with the wireless (I use the Rocketfish wireless sub adapter). Ran the Audeyssey setup on my Denon and, after some minor setting tweaks, this thing kicks. Had to buy some adhesive felt circles to put behind anything hanging on the walls to prevent them from rattling. Very nice sound and blends well with my Klipsch Reference speakers.

Awesome Sub with some real power

This klipsch subwoofer sounds great, and produces tremors all throughout the house. Before I ran calibration set-up, I set sub gain to halfway mark, and receiver still added 7db of gain to it. Which was extremely loud. So I got out spl meter and set it at 80db slow C. And still turned the gain back to 25% of full gain, it has that much output. And it still vibrates the full house. Will be gettin 2nd sub soon. I've watched unstoppable and it sounded great, C.O.D WW2 sounds like your in the middle of a war.

This subwoofer provides plenty of bass for music and movies. It gets down low enough to send vibrations through the couch. The sub is also accurate and precise without the muddy or boomy booms that some subs produce. However the sub is very large and heavy. Due to the large size the sub is extremely hard to move by yourself. This thing is pushing 90lbs. Make sure you have enough room for the sub because it looks like a mini fridge, but its frickin awesome.

I had been looking at this sub for awhile and when Best Buy had it for about 20% off I pulled the trigger. It replaced my previous 15” Klipsch sub that I have used for over 30 years. This new one is simply awesome. The box was pretty beat up when I received it but the sub was well packed and there was no damage. You could spend a LOT more on a sub and not do any better.
