A: You can adjust the volume (gain) on the subwoofer. I have all three of these speakers in addition to R14S surrounds and RIC65 in ceiling speakers using a Marantz SR6013. I strongly urge you to get this sub. I generally have it set to 6O%. The 15” goes down to I think 18hz whereas the 12” to only 29hz. You can really feel this sub during action scenes and when paired with the R820F’s sounds awesome when playing music. And the center channel is a beast too. I urge you to buy a receiver with the lowest amount of harmonic distortion you can afford, it makes a HUGE difference. I hope you get this sub, I’m excited for you.
