  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Condenser drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

  • TrueSteam with Sanitization: LG TrueSteam uses the power of steam to penetrate food residue and help eliminate water spots by up to 60%.¹
  • ThinQ Care: Keep your appliances running smoothly with ThinQ Care, now in the ThinQ app. Get notifications about usage, maintenance, plus early diagnosis right on your phone. Q: I just got this dishwasher installed. The dishes dried but the plastic bowls and the machine tub stay wet when using Extra Drying. Is there a feature to completely dry the dishes? My old machine was very hot and all dry after the cycle.

A: Hey Joe, my machine is new too and I had a similar experience. The plastics and tub drying got waaaaay better after I put a rinse-aid in (I used Finish brand). Even better after I set it to "Night Dry" mode. Now, I usually only need to dry off plastics because of excess water that collects in the rims/recesses.

Q: WHAT TYPE OF WARRANTY IS PROVIDED BY LG?

A: This dishwasher, LDP6810SS, carries a 1-year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty on parts and labor. An extended warranty of 5 years covers Control Board and Rack Parts, 10 Years Direct Drive Motor Lifetime on the Stainless Steel Tub and Door Liner, part only. ^Daphane https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-LDP6810SS.ASSESNA

Q: The dba is 44 adjusted? What does that mean adjusted

A: I'm not sure what the technical meaning is. I can tell you it is whisper quiet. You can tell when the steam function is on but it is barely noticeable. This is our 3rd dishwasher in 20 years, replaced a kitchenaid which was quiet but had other problems. This is the quietest and best cleaning of the three. We were in the market for a Bosch 800 but you cant get them. This LG performs every bit as well as the Bosch is advertised to perform.

Q: Is there a way to determine the status of the of time left from beginning to end when the dishwasher is running?

A: The digital display on the control panel shows the estimated cycle time. When the cycle and options are selected, the display shows the total estimated time to complete those selections. During operation, the display shows the remaining estimated operating time. ^Daphane

Q: Does it has built in disposal?

A: No, just a filter that needs to be cleaned periodically, depending on usage. In my case, twice per month. (Heavy usage)

Q: can I use tablets instead of powder?

A: For model LDP6810SS do not use detergent tablets for shorter wash cycles. The tablet may not dissolve completely, causing detergent residue on dishes and inefficient cleaning. ^Daphane
