Q: Would it ruin it to charge my phone with the case while the case is charging?
A: No, that is how I charged my phone just about Everytime.
Q: Would this fit the iPhone 7?
A: An iPhone 7 will not fit.
Q: Does this case work with the fingerprint scanner?
A: Yes it does.
A: It does not come with a belt clip, though I believe you can attach a life proof active style clip to it. I did not try because I did not want to utilize a belt clip. It uses a micro USB cable to charge the battery and the phone. It is included with the case. You won't use the Apple standard lightning cable to charge anymore unless you remove the phone from the case. Hope that helps.

Q: if my iPhone charging port does not work will i still be able to get a charge from this device?
A: No it goes right into iPhone charger port inside the case
A: LifeProof (now owned by Otterbox) has a limited 1-year warranty on all of their cases, which is detailed on their website at lifeproof.com. Generally, you would send for an identical new case via their website in order to exercise the warranty. However, since this Lifeproof Fre Power case has been discontinued by LifeProof, I'm not sure how this would work. Likely they would replace a Fre Power case with a Fre or a Nuud case, but you would need to contact LifeProof customer service to find out for sure.
