Tackle tough stains with this white top-loading washer from Maytag. The stainless steel basin provides 4.3 cubic feet of space - enough room for 18 towels in one load. The PowerWash system combats tough stains in clothing. This top-loading washer's deep wash cycle raises and lowers water levels automatically to ensure full submersion.
A: If you mean quiet, this machine is NOT quiet.
Q: Can you wash a King Comforter in this?
A: Yes, you can wash a king size comforter in the washer.
A: Spins very well. Clothes come out almost dry. Should cut down on dryer time. Downside is that they tend to be more wrinkled.
Q: what country Maytag washing machine and dryer made? or where is it made?
A: As of 2015, the only remaining U.S. Maytag plants are in Cleveland, Tennessee, and Amana, Iowa. The Tennessee plant manufactures Maytag laundry and kitchen appliances, while the Iowa plant assembles top-compartment and French-door-model refrigerators. Maytag utilizes Whirlpool factories in Clyde, Ohio, and Marion, Ohio, for assembly of its Maxima and Bravos series of washers and dryers. Maytag dishwashers are also manufactured in Ohio, at Whirlpool's Findlay plant.
Q: Does the washing machine come with a drain hose?
A: It does come with a cheap plastic drain hose. You need to purchase the hot and cold water hoses separately. I recommend purchasing a more heavy duty drain hose then the one that comes with the unit. Water damage can be expensive and won't be covered under a warranty. Can't believe Maytag skimped on this!
Q: Doe the machine have an agtator
A: Not a traditional agitator (long stem) as seen in old-school top loaders, but it does have a flat agitator located on the bottom of the tank.
A: Hello Lena! To answer your question, no it doesn't seem like it will need replaced anytime in the near future. The plastic is rather thick and sturdy and doesn't seem to be cheaply made to me. It is also held in place with metal hinges. Hope I was able to answer your question! -Kyle
A: No you cannot change it once you have pressed start. You have to cancel and then start over. There again once you have started a cycle, it is programmed and you will have to cancel. You cannot make changes once you have pressed start.
