Q: QuestionDoes it work well for wireless camera systems?(12 answers)
A: AnswerFor some reason my camera only picked up the 2.4 GHz signal and not my 5g. But it worked great with that so I don't have any issues.Answered by dgv911
- A: AnswerI also had issues with the extender trying to set it up via the app. I then connected the extender to my computer using an ethernet cable. The process was less frustrating and provided more customization. Absolutely no problems since.

- A: AnswerI have this booster as well as (unfortunately) the Cox Panoranic router/modem. The short answer is yes. I was able to extend our 2.5G and 5G wireless networks using the exact same SSID's. The instructions tell you how to do it and it DOES NOT put an EXT on the boosted signals. You can roam within your confines and your wireless devices will automatically switch to the strongest signal without a hitch. One side note.... I did a wireless upload/download speed test before AND after I added the booster to my network. For me I found that after adding it I had stronger signals to the far reaches of my house/yard but it seems as if the device robs a little bit of the total wireless bandwidth capabilities even when I'm right next to my Cox router. I took a hit in the overall wireless download/upload speeds for getting a stronger signal in the weak areas. I'm still using the booster and am happy with it's performance so far....

Expensive WiFi Extender for Average Performance
Owned for 3 months by when reviewed.I purchased this in hopes of expanding my WiFi range from our office to the backyard where our garage is located. Unfortunately, no matter where we place it, it doesnt seem to provide adequate bandwidth from the router. Set up was easy enough and it's only lost connection to the router once. Unfortunately, that one time required me to move the extender closer to the router which made the service in the garage even worse. I unfortunately cannot return the extender anymore so now I am debating if I want to spend another $130 in hopes that it creates a better mesh network.

Owned for 1 month by when reviewed.I installed a new TV in our garage where I have the Bowflex M7 Trainer and Bowflex bench. I needed a wifi extender and went to Best Buy to get this. The rep chose this for me and it worked well as I get a better reception with this wifi extender by Netgear called Nighthawk. Thank you Best Buy for the recommendation.

Great mesh extender
Owned for 3 months by when reviewed.Works great. I use it in my back house and connects easily with with my spectrum router that is located in my front house. Obviously has slower speeds in the back house but still plenty fast for streaming
