  • QuestionHow long will it provide power to a modem and separate router when they’re the only devices active in case of a power outage?

    • Answer Thank you for taking time to provide feedback about our BGM1500BUS unit. Most common low powered routers and modems would consume 10 to 24 watts. But there are some that may use more depending on model check Modem and routers voltage and amperage requirements to see how much they can draw Volts * Amps =Watts i.e 12Volts * 2 amps = 24 watts Since Load is less than 10% the UPS may not report runtime properly but assuming that router and modem is at 90 watts which I see as 1h 14min if lower UPS may not predict it properly but will be a little longer since we have to consider efficiency. Currently Runtime for BGM1500BUS is currently unavailable but use a similar UPS BN1500M2 for comparison it should be slightly similar but wait for data to be available soon for the unit while we update website.   • QuestionCan you plug a boiler pump in permanently and the device kick on and off with power interruption

  • QuestionDoes this model have any filtering technologies? I looked at the spec-sheet on the APC website, and nothing is listed, even though this model has nearly the same attributes as the APC UPS Pro-1500VA/900W, which has full-time multi-pole noise filtering.

  • QuestionCan I use this with Mac M2 Studio Max? Because I look up this APC website and found that APC Back-UPS Pro for Gaming, BGM1500BUS software PowerChute Serial Shutdown, v1.2, supports Windows OS, Linus. It did not say MacOS

  • QuestionHow long does it last for?

    • Answer Depends on what all you connect to it, obviously the more you connect the faster it dies. I have a 43" TV, an Xbox Series X and a sound bar connected to it and I think it would last long enough to finish a round and safely shut everything off and have enough to keep like your phone charged.
