A:AnswerIt should replace it or send it off for repairs within the repair division if the issue is deemed fixable when you bring it in to the store for consultation. but no you cant upgrade the item. You would get store credit equal to what you paid/the cost of the item you had coverage on. But only if jts a total obvious loss. If sent off for repair it can take a month or more. If deemed unrepairable after being sent off youll be asked to return to the store and recieve your store credit equal to the current value of the item. You could use the credit towards anything youd like and the protection plan doesnt carry over to the new item.
A:AnswerNOTHING. ... restart your internet modem, or restart your oculus headset... that worked for me... that is not considered or doesnt warrant a replacement. BEST BUY DOES NOT REPAIR ANY METAQUEST DEVICE. they replace them if you purchase the warranty... good luck sweetie
A:AnswerIf you have the geek squad protection plan purchased with the device from best buy then you would just bring it in and they send it off for repair.
A:AnswerNo, you would only get the current cost of the device in store credit in the event it was unrepairable and you had purchased the protection plan at the time you got the item. Only in those instances.
A:AnswerDID YOU PURCHASE THE WARRANTY?? IF SO , AND IT'S STILL VALID NOT EXPIRED TAKE IT TO BEST BUY WITH YOUR RECEIPT THEY WILL REPLACE IT NOT REPAIR IT ONLY IF IT'S STILL COVERED THOUGH.. CAREFUL WITH THAT CHARDING THING.. They are delicate, computerized components and should be handled with care... those darned "Charging things".... lol.. good luck
A:AnswerYes if it is within the year of original warranty. Just take it in to Geek Squad and they will be more than happy to help you. But remember to take the whole system, not just the controller. They will look up warranty by the phone number or email used when warranty purchase was made.
Good luck and you'll be enjoying your new product in no time at all. Geek Squad is awesome, our family has never been disappointed.
