A:AnswerNo, but videos online make it appear it is easy. We had a friend install. The back plate and screw holes on top matched exactly from our previous microwave of a different brand that we had for about 10 years. Seems that most of these items have been standardized.
A:AnswerThat is weird. You will need to ask the manufacturer if still under the warranty. I looked at the documentation with the oven and I don't see how you could have turned it off.
A:AnswerIt’s not too heavy...a little bit more heavy than a standard microwave of that size. With the stove out of the way I was able To lift it myself and attach it to the wall. You’re still gonna need a second person to screw in the top bolts.
A:AnswerThe door opens about a half inch out, so I don't think you would have enough clearance since your cabinets would be flush with the front of the microwave.
A:AnswerHi Rodg, We would not suggest replacing the light with LED, this particular Microwave was not designed for LED's. Thank you for interest in Amana!
A:AnswerCheck to see which way the fan is actually pointing. If there is a wall behind, you don't want to vent into the wall. I had thought the instructions said which way to point the fan for internal use.
