A:Answer It does not have a headphone jack, no, but neither do any of the later model iPhones. Bluetooth is definitely the way to go and latency has never been a problem with any Apple device I've ever owned. I've owned every iPhone since the first one was released in 2007. I've also owned about 4 different models of iPads, all with no issues and good Bluetooth audio quality (which is mostly dependent on the headphones you use, not the device they are connected to). The audio on the device itself is good as well - I've never had any complaints about the audio quality of the iPad with no headphones. You can watch videos, yes, but it also depends on what types of video you plan on watching. If you have videos saved to an external device somewhere, the best option would be to upload those to your iCloud storage (if you have it) or to something like Google Drive, both of which you can access through apps on the iPad. Obviously your standard video streaming apps will work fine as well (Netflix, Hulu, etc.).
