The Samsung 860 EVO is an internal drive, meaning you'll need to buy an enclosure (about $9 for a SATA to USB-C with the cable) to use it as an external drive. Thunderbolt2 was never that popular, which means even finding an enclosure is almost impossible or cost prohibitive. Then you'd have to buy the $49 adapter.
If you do get an enclosure, you'll need to know which form factor your drive is, 2.5" or M.2.
